You think the holidays are all joy and cheer, huh Clark Grissold? Let me tell you something - being a man during this time of year ain't no cakewalk. Don't get me wrong, the joy and cheer is there, but so are the stresses, the obligations, the pressure to be everything to everyone. Everyone's got their own journey, their own strengths and weaknesses, and as a man, you better believe we've got ours. If you're not careful, the "most wonderful time of the year" can turn into "the nightmare before Christmas" real quick. The family gatherings, the gift-buying, the entertaining - it can all wear you down if you don't know how to handle it. But I'm here to tell you, you can not only handle it, you can crush it. You can be the best version of yourself as a husband, a man, a father. That's the gift you need to give - the gift of you at your absolute best. How do you do that? You start by taking control. You plan, you prepare, you prioritize what's most important. You don't let the season control you, you control the season. The holidays aren't easy for anyone, but as men, we've got our own unique challenges. Don't shy away from them, don't get overwhelmed by them. Face them head on and become the leader your family needs. That's the real gift you can give - yourself, at your absolute best. Are you ready?

    2024/10/30

If you want to win, you have to be crazy enough to believe in yourself when no one else does. This podcast dives into why you need to be just a little bit delusional to succeed—because the world isn’t set up to hand you victories.

It’s full of skeptics, challenges, and obstacles that only a relentless, “I’ll prove you wrong” mindset can overcome. In this episode, we lay out ten strategies to help you stay in the game when things get tough. • How Robert Mora Became The Chief Sports Photographer of the LA Lakers at 19 Years Of Age
    2024/01/12

What an honor it was to sit down with my former high school classmate Robert Mora, who has become one of the biggest names in sports photography. This guy grew up hustling on the streets of Northeast LA's Eagle Rock and El Sereno neighborhoods before getting accepted to the prestigious Pasadena Art Center. At just 19 years old, he landed a gig as the official photographer for the LA Lakers during the Kobe-Shaq era. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.

Robert has taken some of the most iconic shots in NBA history. Who could forget that locker room photo of a soaking wet Kobe holding the Larry O'Brien trophy in the shower after winning a championship? Slam Magazine recently voted that the most iconic sports photo of the decade. But Robert's work goes way beyond Kobe and the Lakers. His portfolio is stacked with legendary images of the greats. The man has won more awards than I can count.

These days Robert serves as the chief photographer for the LA Galaxy, but his work will forever be engrained as part of Lakers lore. He took advantage of an opportunity of a lifetime at 19 years old and built it into an unmatched career shooting basketball superstars. Robert's journey from the streets of LA to the locker rooms of the NBA's elite is inspiring. It shows that with relentless work ethic, unwavering focus, and an obsession with mastering your craft, you can achieve greatness. Much respect to my guy Robert Mora. His photography will be remembered forever.
