Kennedy Ferrell spends her days moving between two versions of the same calling. As an ICU nurse, she sits with people in the hardest moments of their lives. As a coach, she sits with people in the hardest moments of changing theirs. Both, she says, come down to the same thing: showing up for someone when it matters most.

She joins Daniel in Copenhagen to trace where that instinct comes from: a childhood spent watching her parents struggle with addiction, and the moment as a teenager when she realized she couldn't fix them, but could focus on improving herself. Self improvement is the same instinct that later took her from cheerleading mats to gym floors to a coaching business which she runs parallel to shifts in the ICU.

She unpacks the lessons that now guide her coaching: why she believes people can change no matter how they were raised, and why she pushes back on the idea that health requires seven-day routines and constant sweat.

India Agos was emancipated at 15, slept in an abandoned house to make it through high school, and grew up watching her mother struggle with addiction. She joins Daniel in Copenhagen to trace how that childhood shaped every chapter that followed, from hairdressing to a 250-pound turning point in front of a mirror, to building an online coaching business with an average client NPS of 9.1.

India is disarmingly honest about the parts of her story most people would keep hidden: the moment she recognized her mother's patterns in her own reflection, the toxic relationships she repeated because it was the only love she knew, and the one-way ticket to Asia she bought while struggling with depression and suicidal ideation, not knowing if it would give her life or take it.

She also unpacks the lessons that now shape her coaching: the difference between an explanation and an excuse, why trauma-informed coaching means understanding the story behind the scale, and why 100% of transformation comes down to mindset, even when GLP-1s are part of the picture.

Sarah, founder of Sarah in All Sizes, lost 210 pounds (starting at 370) and turned her journey into a coaching business that has changed the lives of more than 1,300 women. In this episode she sits down to tell the whole story: growing up hearing the word "obese" from the age of four, the fad diets that never stuck, the stigma that made her resist bariatric surgery for years, and the day the scale finally pushed her to change everything.

Sarah is refreshingly open about the parts most people keep quiet. From veterinary nurse to mortician to online coach, her path is tied together by one thread: being in service of people in the moments they need it most. She shares why education beats another 1,200-calorie meal plan, why clients sometimes need to slow down to succeed, and why holistic, personalized coaching built on real human connection is what finally breaks the cycle.

This is a conversation about grit, stigma, second chances, and what it means to become the turning point for others that you once needed yourself.

Amanda Nydén built MandyFit from a single group-fitness class in a small Swedish town into one of the most successfull coaching businesses in the Nordics. In this episode she sits down with Daniel in Copenhagen to trace the whole arc: the inner drive that kept pushing her out of her comfort zone, the long grind to a pro card, and the burnout that finally forced her to slow down.

Amanda is refreshingly honest about the parts most people hide. She talks about chasing a goals harder than most could, the identity shift that came when the competing stopped, and the autumn she woke up unable to get out of bed. Her story is a study in grit, and also in learning when grit stops serving you.

Along the way she unpacks the lessons that now shape how she leads as a Health Entrepreneur: why goals deserve a timeline measured in years rather than weeks, why the magic tends to live just outside your comfort zone, and why a founder has to stop managing everything and become the creator of the business instead.

Whether you coach, build, or simply push yourself hard, this is a warm, candid look at ambition, the cost of it, and what it takes to keep going without breaking.

Kevin Clevenger got clean, got strong, and built Iron Sanctuary "one rep at a time". In this episode, the founder who grew a following of millions by being radically honest online sits down to talk addiction, recovery, and the daily fight to make the sad voices go away.

Kevin doesn't flinch from the hard parts: the friend he lost to suicide, his own attempt, and why he believes the biggest killer is silence. He opens up about why food addiction can be even harder to beat than drugs, what recovery rooms taught him about how addicts actually feel, and how being radically honest online gave millions of people permission to stop hiding. Underneath it all is the throughline of his work: training as a tool for mental health, and breaking the silence that keeps people stuck.

It's a raw, hopeful conversation about turning pain into purpose, and the strength it takes to stay on the journey of creating impact at scale.

This episode discusses addiction and suicide. If you're struggling, you're not alone. In the US you can call or text 988, and elsewhere please reach out to a local helpline.

In this episode of Impact Junkies, Daniel sits down with Bliss from Bliss Mode to unpack the story behind one of the most energetic forces in online coaching.

Before building Bliss Mode, Bliss was working early mornings as a trainer, late nights as a server, and doing everything she could to keep coaching people — even when she was barely getting by. One of her lowest moments came when her car was repossessed outside the gym while she was coaching a class. She calls it her rock bottom.

This conversation is about grit, self-belief, and what it really takes to turn passion into impact at scale — from garage training during COVID to building a coaching brand that has helped thousands of people move more, train harder, and change their lives.

    In this episode:
Bliss’ early relationship with health and fitness, the grind years, her rock bottom moment, building Bliss Mode, scaling online coaching, and leading with energy, passion, and purpose.

    This episode of Impact Junkies:

Few topics are changing the future of weight loss more than GLP-1s. But according to Liza Marie, medication alone is not the full answer.

In this episode of Impact Junkies, Daniel sits down with Liza Marie, also known as the weight loss big sister, to talk about her own transformation, the 140 lbs she lost, the coaching business she built, and why sustainable weight loss still comes down to habits, support, strength training, nutrition, and lifestyle change.

Liza shares what it was like growing up overweight, using food for comfort, feeling stuck in life, and eventually taking the first step during lockdown: a 20-minute walk. That first step became 10,000 steps, then 30 lbs lost, then 140 lbs lost, and eventually a business that has helped more than 9,300 women change their lives.

They also dive into one of the most important conversations in health right now: how GLP-1s can reduce food noise and create powerful change, but why coaching may be the missing piece that helps people build a healthier lifestyle they can actually sustain.

This is a conversation about weight loss, food noise, confidence, coaching, GLP-1s, and what it really means to build a smaller body for a bigger life.
