  • S1-E28: My Story and the Questions It Forced Me to Ask
    2026/07/20

Family estrangement is becoming increasingly common, yet few people are willing to talk openly about it.

In this deeply personal first episode, I share my family's story—not to assign blame or ask listeners to choose sides, but to begin an honest conversation about one of the most painful realities many families face today.

Along the way, I reflect on what God has taught me through grief, repentance, and hope, and I explain why my personal journey led me to ask a much bigger question: How did we get here?

As a worldview teacher, I explore the cultural ideas that I believe have reshaped the modern family, including the rise of child-centered parenting and how it may have influenced the way we think about authority, responsibility, identity, and reconciliation. I also discuss the difference between thoughtful psychology and today's pop-therapy culture, arguing that Christians should evaluate every cultural idea—including our views of family and healing—through the authority of Scripture.

Whether you're a parent experiencing estrangement, an adult child trying to understand your own family, or someone seeking a thoughtful biblical perspective on today's culture, my prayer is that this conversation encourages you to pursue truth with humility, extend grace without abandoning wisdom, and remember that no relationship is beyond God's reach.

This is the beginning of a conversation—not the end.

  • S1-E27: The Social Media Illusion: Known, Connected, or Controlled?
    2026/07/12

In this episode, we explore how social media is reshaping our minds, relationships, and culture. From the neuroscience behind endless scrolling to the illusion of connection, we examine why so many of us crave likes, followers, and online validation—and what that pursuit may be costing us.

Drawing on Austin's decades in law enforcement, the conversation also uncovers a side of social media that many overlook: how the personal information we freely share can become a roadmap for anyone seeking to manipulate or exploit us.

Is social media simply a tool, or has it become a force that shapes our thinking, our identity, and even our sense of self?

Join us as we ask the deeper question: Are we intentionally using social media—or is social media quietly shaping the people we're becoming?

  • S1-E26: The PsyOps Against the Family (How We Were Taught to Celebrate Isolation)
    2026/06/29

This explores one of the most influential cultural messages of our time: that adulthood begins by leaving home and becoming "independent."

    .

We examine how modern ideas about family, success, ownership, and self-reliance compare with the biblical model of intergenerational family, stewardship, and responsibility. Is the push toward isolation making individuals—and families—stronger, or more vulnerable?

    .

Join us as we examine what we call the enemy's economy—how shame is the currency, and pride becomes the interest payment, and the Gospel offers the only path to true freedom.
