BIG storyline going into that game was the long-awaited return of Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog. This was his first game back with the Avs since game 6 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final. We also talked about all 4 games on the slate from Thursday the Blues stun the Jets, the Leafs come up clutch in OT (on the verge to possibly sweeping their playoff series against the Ottawa Senators), and the Panthers shutout the Lightning 2-0 and lead the series 2-0. We also talked about game 3 of the Golden Knights and Wild as the Stars for the Wild showed up again as Kirill Kaprizov scored 2 goals (2nd straight game with 2 goals and both goals coming on the powerplay), Matt Boldy scores in his 3rd straight game, Marco Rossi gets his first career playoff goal, and Zeev Buium gets his first career playoff point.
