Opening night for the 2025-26 NHL Season is Tuesday October 7, 2025. This will be a tripleheader on ESPN / ESPN+. We got the Blackhawks vs Panthers, Penguins vs Rangers, and Avalanche vs Kings. Then it's a TNT doubleheader on Wednesday October 8, 2025. It's the Bruins vs Capitals, and Kings vs Golden Knights (Mitch Marner makes his Golden Knights debut).Then I talked about the MUST-WATCH games for this season and why you should watch it. I also talked about the NHL's Frozen Frenzy, which is set to happen on Tuesday October 28, 2025. For those who don't know what the Frozen Frenzy is, it's a day where all 32 teams are in action. 32 teams. 16 games. 1 fun-filled night of hockey.This episode is great if you want a full breakdown of the season and don’t have time to read through every team’s schedule. Bowen Byram signed a two-year deal to stay with the Sabres, and Nikolaj Ehlers signed a six-year contract deal with the Carolina Hurricanes. On the trade side, Arturs Silovs was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Isaac Howard is now with the Edmonton Oilers.
