Parents and Grandparents! Are you searching for amazing adventures from our past that will not only thrill and inspire your children, but more so rescue them from scrolling endlessly through social media?

Introducing the FORGOTTEN PATRIOTS podcast, where our history's powerful--yet often untold--stories will take your breath away.

Igniting a passion within our young people to arise and stand courageously with history's "noble and great ones".

I’m Rick Robison. Husband, father, grandfather, Veterans Hospital Volunteer, historian, and former intel officer. But most of all concerned patriot seeing our once exceptional nation being “fundamentally transformed” from within.

“History must be judged strenuously and within historical context.”

Please join with us in our quest to shine the light of truth on America’s glorious past. To honor America’s heroes and heroines. For without them, our world today would be a dark and despotic place, one we would not recognize.

For “Not to know what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of a human being unless it be woven into the life, the mosaic, of our ancestors” (Marcus Tullius Cicero).

To leap with both feet into such a vital adventure requires that we gather, but more so, harness, the stories of our illustrious heroes and heroines. To do that successfully we must place them within a comprehendible historical setting. This takes work, my friends.

This is the “why” of the FORGOTTEN PATRIOTS Podcast Series. Its purpose and mission. With a passion we’ve done the heavy lifting. Transporting you back in time to experience what it was like standing shoulder-to-shoulder with history’s noble and great ones, as they rose to save our world…yet, too often sacrificing life and limb. Freely offering their “last full measure of devotion” in our behalf.

The 100 Indispensable Heroes of American History. An entertaining, fast-moving ride we guarantee will thrill you, right down to the often-shocking finish! Each story provides proof of why, and how, these heroes are heroes, saving our nation, our world, and our way of life.

Please join with me each week immersing yourself in our unique and entertaining “FORGOTTEN PATRIOTS” Podcast Series. Walk in their footsteps. Witness through their eyes how these genuine, honest, everyday people helped save our world!

In this I guarantee that you, but more so your children, will rekindle a passion for life, suddenly seeing the potential this great, God-centered land offers every honest, hardworking seeker after truth. Stories that restore and inspire young minds and hearts—of all ages!

By embracing these noble and great ones, we join with them—E Pluribus Unum—as they offer “their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor.”

I know you’ll agree. We need such heroes, now more than ever.

  • 99 - THE NIGHTCLUB HOSTESS WHO STOOD AGAINST THE JAPANESE | Claire Maybelle Phillips (American Spy) | WWII
    2026/10/07

The Japanese had no idea the woman entertaining them was using the money they spent at her nightclub to secretly help American prisoners survive the brutal conditions in the POW camps.

That was Claire Maybelle Phillips. The secret American who had turned her nightclub into a weapon of war.

Claire found out that her husband Phil had been captured. She used her skill and bribery to gain access to the American POW camps, trying to help her husband.

But on May 23, 1944, Kempei-Tai (Japanese Secret Police) stormed Club Tsubaki and arrested Claire. For five months she endured brutal torture.

But Claire refused to betray the Philippine Resistance and the American soldiers being held in Japanese prison camps. She would fight to the end hoping that America had not forgotten her…

  • 98 - THE JACK REACHER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION | Peter Francisco (Continental Army) | Revolutionary War
    2026/09/30

His story of raw strength against impossible odds reveals a hero who history has a hard time explaining. Many wondered if Peter Francisco was an actual human being or something more. Like Biblical Samson, he appeared when needed to help defeat the enemies of freedom.

In 1776, at only sixteen years of age, a boy who began life as an orphan, joined the 10th Virginia Regiment of the Continental Army. He fought throughout the war, was wounded many times, but defeated in desperate hand-to-hand combat scores of the enemy, including facing Colonel Banister Tarelton’s Dragoons in a desperate fight, alone, heavily outnumbered.

The British knew of this giant American rebel, and tried to capture or kill him. And though severely wounded and once left for dead, Peter Francisco refused to die.

After the war Peter passed with little of this life’s possessions, though as a veteran and war hero, he died highly respect by his neighbors and friends. The perfect American hero. Unsung, yet honorable to the end.

  • 97 - INSPIRING AMERICA'S FOUNDERS... | Algernon Sydney (English Politician) | 1600s
    2026/09/23

At dawn King Charles II’s soldiers forced their way into Algernon Sydney’s home in Northumberland, England, charging him with “treason against the Crown.”

Sydney was convicted for his beliefs, his thoughts, for his love of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for the common citizen, then marched to the gallows.

But Algernon Sydney’s writings, and the God-given truth he died for, would go on to inspire our Founders who, later, struggling in the face of overwhelming odds, published the Declaration of Independence to a shackled world. Then the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Sydney’s works became, in the end, the “Textbook of the American Revolution.”

Thomas Jefferson channeled Algernon Sydney. So did John Adams (and, of course, Abigail Adams).

Sydney’s contribution to freedom—as forgotten a hero as I have known—cannot be overstated. For he helped our Founders discover and embrace the God-given gift of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!
