  • Website & SEO Essentials for Small Businesses
    2026/09/02

You've got a website. So why isn't the phone ringing?

Most small business owners assume that being online means being found. Then someone searches for exactly the service they offer, and they don't appear anywhere on the page.

Hayden from Dream joins us to explain the difference, and what to do about it. We talk through what a website has to communicate in the first five seconds, why dumping every service onto one page confuses Google, the proof elements that build trust fast, and how to structure a service page so it actually ranks. Hayden also covers the most common mistakes he sees, from vague messaging to neglected Google Business Profiles, plus six quick wins you can knock over this week.

If your website looks fine but isn't bringing in work, this one is for you.

  • Your 2026 Guide to Facebook, Instagram Success
    2026/08/17

Still posting into the void and blaming the algorithm? In this episode, Tennille and Faye sit down with Sarah to unpack what actually works on Facebook and Instagram in 2026, and why the businesses winning right now are the ones keeping it simple.

Sarah explains why you don't need to be on every platform, just the right ones used well. We cover Facebook's continued strength for local reach and community trust, why Groups are outperforming Pages, and how Reels, carousels and Stories each play a different role in getting people to know, like and trust you.

There's also a straight-talking look at the mistakes most small businesses are making, from chasing polish over personality to talking at their audience instead of inviting a conversation. Sarah finishes with five quick wins you can put into action this week without buying a single piece of new gear.

    What you'll learn:

    • Why Facebook is still the number one platform for local reach and community trust
    • The role of Reels, carousels and Stories, and what each one is actually for
    • A simple weekly content rhythm you can maintain without burning out
    • The five most common content mistakes and how to fix them
    • Quick wins to implement this week

  • How Insecurity Shows Up in the Workplace
    2026/08/02

Insecurity is one of those things nobody names, but it's sitting in almost every workplace, quietly shaping how people behave.

In this episode we're joined by leadership and mindset expert Jaemin Frazer to unpack what insecurity actually looks like on the ground, and why so many of the behaviours we label as "problem staff" are really protective responses in disguise.

    We cover:

    • How insecurity shows up in staff, from overcompensating and perfectionism to avoidance, defensiveness and people pleasing
    • How it shows up in leaders, including micromanaging, avoiding hard conversations, taking things personally and struggling to delegate
    • Practical things leaders can do to reduce its impact, like building psychological safety, setting clear expectations, giving feedback that builds confidence, and modelling the grounded kind of confidence rather than the performative kind

The goal isn't to eliminate insecurity, it's to create an environment where it stops driving behaviour.

Because at the end of the day, business is personal. And this is Her Take on Business.
