  • Ep. Two ~ When the Work Became Worship
    2026/08/17

The work became worship the moment I stopped treating it as something I owned and began treating it as something entrusted to me. That one distinction changed everything about how I build.

Ari’yah tells the story of years spent carrying the work as though everything depended on her, the quiet shift that followed, and the strange experience of watching an entire ecosystem reveal itself one faithful step at a time. At the center is Bezalel, the craftsman in Exodus 31, and what it means that the first person God explicitly says He filled with His Spirit was a maker rather than a prophet or a king. If you are new here, Episode One lays the framework this episode rests on.

    IN THIS EPISODE

The weight of the work did not lift. It changed shoulders. Striving rarely introduces itself by name. It arrives dressed as faithfulness, and it is productive, which is exactly why it is so hard to detect and so hard to surrender. Flow describes the worker's state. It says nothing about the Source. An owner and a steward can do identical work on an identical morning and live in two different worlds. Every metric becomes a mirror, and mirrors are exhausting once you have made them into judges.

Exodus 25:40 gives Moses a pattern to receive rather than a vision to originate. That is more freedom than most builders have ever been offered.

Bezalel is the first person in Scripture whom God explicitly says He has filled with the Spirit of God. Not a king. Not a priest. A craftsman. The making mattered because God mattered.

    THIS WEEK’S PRACTICE

At the end of each day, ask the steward’s question. Not whether it worked. Whether you were faithful with what was in your hands today. Write the answer down for one week.

  • Podcast Episode One ~ What Is Heaven's Economy?
    2026/08/03

Heaven’s Economy is the way things actually are. God owns everything; He entrusts portions of it to people, and it moves through them toward others for the flourishing of what He loves and for His glory. Ari’yah opens this first episode with a confession about her accounting. For most of her life, there was an error at the top of every column, and the error was the word “mine.” Through Psalm 24, Deuteronomy 8, and 1 Chronicles 29, this episode walks through the three questions every economy answers: who owns what there is, how it moves from one hand to another, and what it’s ultimately for. Most of us never chose our answers. We inherited them, and they’ve been running underneath every decision since.

This is the foundation the rest of the season is built on.

    IN THIS EPISODE

    * Every economy answers three questions, and most of us inherited our answers before we could evaluate them.

    * Psalm 24:1 settles the first one. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. Without exception and without remainder.

    * Deuteronomy 8:17 names the counterfeit, and Moses locates it in prosperity rather than poverty. “My power and the strength of my hands produced this” is the sentence that arrives after the harvest.

    * God gives the ability to produce wealth, not merely the wealth. The strength in your hands is itself on loan.

    * Ownership is heavy. Stewardship is light. Comparison is the sport of owners, and it has no meaning at all for a steward.

    * Heaven’s Economy moves by circulation rather than accumulation. You are not the destination. You are the channel.

    THIS WEEK’S PRACTICE

Name one thing you’ve been calling “mine.” Something with edges. Then say aloud: This is Yours. I am carrying it for You. Tell me what You want done with it.

    Psalm 24:1, Deuteronomy 8:17-18, 1 Chronicles 29:14
