  • Episode 47:45 Years, One Turning Point
    2025/12/31

I turned 45 years old this month! As I was thinking on what I wanted to write and talk about today as I am approaching this somewhat of a milestone birthday, I realized that I have shared very little of my background and story with my podcast listeners and that you may be curious to know more about me personally.

Today in celebration of surviving 45 years and being in a beautiful place in my life, I thought I would share more intimately and vulnerably about who I am, where I’ve come from and what has brought me to the point of becoming a health coach specializing in helping women recover from IBS.

I hope you enjoy today’s special episode and how magical it feels to me.

  • Episode 46 Saying Yes to IBS
    2025/12/24

    Send us a text

The other day I was lying in bed, deeply warm and under the covers and I could feel how cold it was outside of the bed. I was just getting over having a really bad cold that knocked me out for a few days and as I was waking up I could feel my head pounding, the beginning of a really bad headache. I desperately wanted to go back to bed because I knew it was too early to get up and I was still tired, but I also knew that I wouldn’t be able to go back to bed with my head hurting the way it was. After about ten minutes of fretting over what to do, I remembered a strategy I used to help heal my IBS and decided to try it with my headache and see if it worked. I called it the “Saying Yes” strategy and it worked. Let’s talk today about what is the saying yes strategy and how and why it works to help heal IBS. • Episode 42: When Will I Heal My IBS?
    2025/11/26

    Send us a text

I think a lot of women who have had or still have had IBS struggle with the timeline of having this disorder—maybe asking yourself:

When will I heal? When will I get better?

This struggle is so real and visceral and truthfully there is no one answer fits all for every woman—a truth that can sometimes kill the motivation to keep going.Lately I have made an observation while speaking to real women who have healed their IBS. They say that the key to healing is being patient and being persistent. Today we will talk about this magical combination and how you can use these two-character traits to get you through healing and to the finish line.
