  • Journey of the Chakras: Sacral Chakra
    2025/09/12

    Send us a text

Hari Om my Friend!!! In this episode, we dive into the second chakra in the yogic journey: the Sacral Chakra. Svadisthana Chakra if we want to get ancient with it. Sanskrit is one of the oldest written and spoken languages in human history, which is why its vibrations are so powerful. But anyway, let's dive into the burnt orange colored chakra!

This one is all about joy, enthusiasm, sex drive, and creative self expression. On the flip side of this, an unhealthy Sacral Chakra can look like unhappy relationships, low or hyper libido, anger, jealousy, chronic stress, and fear. We can heal ourselves in so many ways, but step one is always awareness.

At the end of the episode, I included a small mantra for you if you so choose to use it. It is as follows:

    Om, Lokah Samastah Sukino Bhavantu

    Om, Shanti Shanti Shanti

This translates to: May all beings be happy and free. Peace Peace Peace.

We chant peace three times: once for peace within ourselves, another for peace between ourselves and others, and a third time for universal peace.

A deep bow to you my friend. Until next time!

  • Yoga for Addiction
    2025/05/29

    Send us a text

This weeks episode gets REAL with some origin stories of what brought me to become a yoga teacher. Tune in this week to hear about my own struggle with alcohol addiction, and how my first YTT turned into the most effective detox process I could have ever imagined: physically, mentally, and spiritually.

If you've struggled with addiction of any sort in the past or present, or know anyone who has, tune in and share this episode with a friend to know that you're not alone. I have struggled deeply myself with this, and I couldn't have made it through without yoga in my life to give me the reframe I needed, and the health I was seeking.
