  • Have They Told You, You've Changed?
    2026/09/07

What happens when you start healing and suddenly some of your relationships feel different?

Maybe you are saying no more often. Maybe you are explaining yourself less. Maybe behaviors you once tolerated bother you now. Maybe people who were comfortable with the old version of you seem uncomfortable with the woman you are becoming.

That does not automatically mean you have "outgrown" everyone, become more spiritually mature than them, or need to cut people off.

    Sometimes healing improves relationships.

Sometimes it exposes patterns that were already there.

And sometimes you are the person who still needs to learn how to communicate differently. In this episode, we talk honestly about boundaries, relational patterns, truth in love, changing expectations, and how to discern whether a relationship needs repair, adjustment, distance or simply a better conversation.

  • When Healing Changes Your Relationships
    2026/08/24

Why your growth can make other people uncomfortable and what to do about it.

One of the most unexpected parts of healing is realizing that your relationships don't always change with you. As you grow, set healthier boundaries and begin speaking more honestly, some relationships become stronger.

    Others become strained.

That doesn't automatically mean you're doing something wrong. It also doesn't automatically mean every relationship should end.

    In today's episode we'll explore:

    • why healing changes relationships dynamics
    • why some people celebrate your growth while others resist it.
    • The difference between discomfort and dysfunction
    • What Ephesians 4 teaches about speaking truth in love
    • Questions to help you discern whether a relationship is growing or simply reacting to change.

    2026/08/17

How to release resentment without reopening the door to repeated harm.

Many Christian women have been taught that forgiveness means restoring access, rebuilding trust or returning to a relationship exactly as it was.

But forgiveness, reconciliation and trust are not the same thing.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why forgiveness can feel emotionally complicated
    • The difference between forgiveness and reconciliation
    • Why trust requires evidence
    • How boundaries can coexist with compassion
    • What Scripture does and does not require
    • How to release the desire for revenge without denying the harm
    • Questions to consider before reopening a relationship

This episode combines psychology education, biblical reflection and personal experience. It is not therapy, legal advice or pastoral counseling.

  • Peace Isn't the Absence of Problems
    2026/08/10

Many of us believe peace comes after life gets easier. After the bills are paid. After the relationship improves. After the diagnosis changes. After the children come back. After the grief ends.

But what if biblical peace isn't something we find after the storm?

What if it's something God develops within us while we're still walking through it?

In today's episode, we're talking about the difference between temporary relief and lasting peace, what psychology teaches us about uncertainty, and how faith invites us to trust God even when the outcome remains unknown.

  • You Can't Heal What You Keep Defending
    2026/08/03

Have you ever caught yourself explaining away someone's behavior... or your own?

    "He didn't mean it."

    "That's just how I am."

    "I've always been this way."

Sometimes those statements are true and sometimes they are defenses that keep us from asking harder questions. In this episode, we explore why healing often begins when we stop defending unhealthy patterns and become curious enough to examine them honestly.

  • Why Starting Again Feels Harder After 40
    2026/07/20

Starting again after 40 can feel heavier because we remember previous disappointment, unfinished goals and broken promises to ourselves.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    * Why consistency is not always a strategy problem

    * The difference between self-efficacy and self-esteem

    * Practical barriers versus internal beliefs

    * Rebuilding self-trust through manageable actions

    * Dating after divorce and trusting your judgment

    * Philippians 3:12–14 in context

    * Moving forward without denying the past

Psychology-supported: Self-efficacy concerns our belief in our ability to perform a particular behavior. It can affect motivation and persistence, but it does not explain every setback.

Biblically grounded: Philippians 3:12–14 concerns Paul’s continued pursuit of Christ. It is not a guarantee of general success or an instruction to erase painful memories.

Personal reflection: I am a psychology student and a woman in therapy sharing what I am learning. This episode is educational and reflective, not therapy or clinical advice.
