  • Letting Go in the Unknown: Trusting God When the Path Isn’t Clear
    2025/10/12

    Send us a text

Hey y’all, it’s Rachael, and welcome back to this week’s Sunday Solace, a quiet space to breathe deeply, reflect on God’s promises, and find strength in His presence.

If you’re listening today, I want to start by saying — I see you. You may be standing in a season of uncertainty, holding onto what’s familiar, even when God is gently calling you to release it. Letting go is hard, isn’t it?

Today is all about Letting Go in the Unknown and Trusting God when the path isn’t clear.

External authority: The world’s voice — what others expect or demand. The illusion that “I have no choice.” Internal authority: The Spirit-led wisdom within us. The truth that you always have a choice, and God invites you to choose faith over fear.

God is the Author of your story — and when you align with Him, you reclaim your internal authority. When you let go of needing to know every step, you open space for God to move. The Author of your story is also the Authority over your path — and His plans are good. Let gratitude and faith be your compass through uncertainty.

    Scripture suggestions:

Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart...

Romans 12:2 — Be transformed by the renewing of your mind...

Philippians 4:6-7 — Do not be anxious about anything...

Thank you for joining me today on Sunday Solace.
If this episode spoke to your heart, would you take a moment to share it with a friend or leave a review? And if you’d like to dive deeper into releasing resistance and living from peace, head on over the the website, GGTLife.com and reach out to me ~ it’s a beautiful next step in your healing journey.

  • Sunday Solace: Feel It, Don’t Follow It ~ Mastering Emotional Signals
    2025/07/06

    Send us a text

    • “God doesn't waste a single step on the trail — even the ones you thought were detours.”
    • Have you ever felt something so strongly — and later realized it wasn’t the full picture?
    • Feelings are indicators, not dictators
    • Feelings point to unmet needs, unresolved pain, or inner beliefs. It’s at this point, there is usually a focus running, such as “I am not lovable”, “My needs don’t matter”, “I am not enough” and so on. It is much easier said than done, but the more you practice being in alignment and focusing on what is, we begin to see a greater connection of positive feelings that are common with your values.
    • I want to provide you with some thought discipline tools.
      • Journaling (reflective prompts) ~ there is power when we put pen to paper.
      • Naming the feeling (“Name it to tame it.”)
      • Breathing + grounding practices
    • Prompts:
      • What am I feeling right now?
      • What thought is fueling this feeling?
      • What does this emotion tell me about my beliefs?
      • Is this feeling aligned with truth?
      • What truth can I stand on instead?
    • Scriptures:
      1. Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

      2. Psalm 34:17-18 (NLT)
"The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed."

      3. Romans 12:12 (ESV)
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
    • Let’s keep climbing into growth — together.
This is your next step in the journey.

To connect for coaching sessions or packages, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

  • Sunday Solace: Clarity Brings Breakthrough
    2025/06/30

What Is Discernment and Why It Matters

    • Definition: Discernment is the spiritual ability to perceive, judge, and distinguish between truth and falsehood, right and wrong, God's voice and the world's noise.

    • It’s not about being judgmental — it’s about being wise. It helps you recognize what’s meant for you and what’s not.

    • Biblical Foundation – Hebrews 5:14 (ESV):
“But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”

    • This is a practice. You don’t just wake up with it one day — it’s grown through seeking God, reflecting on truth, and tuning into His voice over time.

      Reflection Questions for Listeners
      • What am I currently discerning or confused about?
      • Where have I been operating from a place of “don’t want” instead of “do want”?
      • What aligned action might God be inviting me into today?

More Scripture to Anchor the Message

    Philippians 1:9-10 (NIV):
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best...”
→ Clarity isn’t just about avoiding wrong; it’s about knowing what is best.

    1 Kings 3:9 (NIV):
“So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong...” (Solomon’s prayer)
→ Discernment is a prayer-worthy pursuit, and God responds when we ask for it.

    Romans 12:2 (ESV):
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God…”
