  • Regulated and Radiant E4 - The Mind Comes In: Reframing Thoughts, Uncovering Core Beliefs, and Rewiring the Autopilot
    2026/04/14

    Your body got there first.

In Episodes 1 through 3, we laid the foundation — what trauma does to the nervous system, what functional freeze actually looks like when you're living inside it, and how the body holds the score long after the story seems over. That work was necessary. It was the ground floor.

    Now the mind comes in.

Episode 4 is the cognitive pivot of the Regulated & Radiant arc — the episode where everything we've built in the body starts to meet what's been running quietly in the background of your mind. We're talking about the thoughts you didn't consciously choose, the core beliefs you inherited before you had the language to question them, and the mental autopilot that's been steering your life on instructions written during survival mode.

This episode breaks down Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and cognitive reframing in a way that actually accounts for how trauma-wired brains work — because "just think differently" has never been enough, and you've always deserved more than that.

But this isn't just a how-to. It's a how-did-we-get-here. We'll look at how your nervous system, your body memories, and your thought patterns are all in conversation with each other — and what it means to finally start listening in.

What we cover in this episode:

    • Where core beliefs come from and how to start identifying yours

    • How cognitive distortions keep trauma survivors stuck in survival patterns

    • What CBT and NLP actually offer — and where they fall short without somatic and nervous system context

    • How to use cognitive reframing as integration, not bypass

    • What it looks like to work with your wiring instead of against it

This is Episode 4 of Regulated & Radiant — the first arc of The Intentional Living Series, a framework built for non-linear, trauma-wired humans who are done with healing that wasn't designed for them.

The next episode brings in the soul piece. But first — meet your mind.

  • Regulated and Radiant E3: Your Body Never Forgot - What Happens When Trauma Gets Stuck
    2026/03/25

Unprocessed trauma doesn't disappear — it gets stored. In your muscles, your breath, your gut, your nervous system. This episode breaks down where trauma actually lives in the body, why we get stuck in survival loops even when we "know better," and how somatic practices give us a way out that talk therapy alone can't. This is the science of feeling it to heal it.

  • Thank you
    2026/03/24

I ran into some hiccups during the first week of production - and along the process, I also ran out of solutions as my body decided to be done with my plans. The situation became far less about putting out a lackluster recording, and became an example of pushing too hard, too fast. Sometimes pure will power and a glue gun don't equal the result you were planning. Thank you for your support during the launch, as I pivot and put new solutions in place. This is Freaked Out & F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S. in real time.

  • Regulated and Radiant E2: Functional Freeze - When Hurting Inside, Looks Like Performing on the Outside
    2026/03/10

Functional Freeze: When Hurting Inside Looks Like Performing Outside

You've been called strong your whole life. Capable. Calm in a crisis. Wise beyond your years.

And somewhere underneath all of it — it felt like a lie.

Not because you're weak. Because what they were calling strength was survival. And there's a difference.

In this episode we're talking about functional freeze — the shutdown nobody sees. The falling apart that looks, from every outside angle, like a solid performance. The nervous system that keeps getting you there, until one day it doesn't.

We cover what high-functioning freeze actually looks like in real life, why the world rewards it and makes it harder to catch, what happens when the window closes entirely, and what the way through actually requires — hint: it's not journaling.

This episode also includes an unplanned moment where the work happened in real time. Because that's what Freaked Out & F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S. actually is — not a highlight reel. The real thing.

If you've ever wondered why you can hold everything together for everyone else and fall apart completely over something small — this one is for you.

You aren't alone. It just feels like it.

  • Regulated and Radiant E1: Intentional Life Series
    2026/03/07

If you've ever called yourself broken, oversensitive, too much, or just couldn't figure out why you can't seem to get it together — this episode is for you.

We're starting at the foundation. Not mindset. Not motivation. Not another list of things you already know you're supposed to do.

    Your nervous system.

Because here's what nobody tells you: you cannot think your way out of a nervous system state. You can only regulate your way out. And if you've been white-knuckling your way through life wondering why nothing sticks — this is the missing piece.

    In this episode we cover:

🧠 Why your brain isn't broken — it's doing exactly what it was built to do. Donald Hebb's neuroscience explains why the patterns running your life got wired in so deep, and why that is not your fault.

🪟 The Window of Tolerance — Dr. Dan Siegel's framework for understanding why you swing between overwhelm and shutdown, and what it actually means to be regulated.

⚡ Survival Mode — what fight, flight, freeze, and fawn actually look like in real life. Spoiler: they don't always look like panic. Sometimes they look like being really busy. Or really kind. Or really tired.

🔥 The sneaky triggers — including the good-adrenaline ones. Dr. Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory explains why excitement and threat feel the same in your body, and why launching something or getting good news can send you into full meltdown.

💡 Why regulation is not optional — it is the prerequisite for everything else. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk's work in The Body Keeps the Score backs this up: the prefrontal cortex goes partially offline under threat. You cannot build a life from that state.

And we close with your Week 1 micro habit — one regulation anchor. Not a routine. Not a program. One thing you can return to, even on your worst days.

This isn't a hype space. It's not a healing performance. It's not toxic positivity with a pretty font.

This is a practice container — trauma-informed, low-pressure, built for non-linear humans who are done pretending they can hustle their way to wholeness.

F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S. doesn't mean perfect execution. It means faithful return.

If you're still alive today — that's enough reason to show up.

I'll see you in the work.

Freaked Out & F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S. is a 12-week intentional living cycle for the misfits, the overthinkers, the too-much humans, and everyone who's tired of the same recycled advice. New episodes drop weekly. Come as you are.
