  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on The Edge
    2026/09/20

There's a particular feeling Ally wants to talk about today: the moment you can feel something in you being called forward, but you're not quite comfortable yet.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke unpacks the edge, that threshold between the woman you've been and the woman you're becoming. It's a conversation, a decision, a boundary, a bigger room. And the moment you get close to it, your whole system starts negotiating: maybe later, maybe once things settle down, maybe once I have more certainty.

She explains why so many high performing women misread that discomfort as a warning to retract, when it might actually be an invitation to step forward. The strategies that got you here, overworking, proving, pleasing, perfecting, might not be what the next level needs. It asks for more trust, more visibility, more asking, more boundaries.

You'll hear Ally's most important question for when you're up against the edge: not what is this asking me to do, but what is this asking me to become. And her simple practice for naming your edge out loud, then finding the smallest brave step you can take toward it without overwhelming your system.

Your edge isn't here to punish you or shame you. It's here to reveal the next version of you. Take the tiny step.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Feeling Limitless
    2026/09/13

"Feeling limitless" can sound like a big, sparkly, motivational idea, more abundance, more expansion, and none of it feels quite real for the woman actually living her life with bills, a calendar and real responsibilities.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke reframes what feeling limitless actually means. It has nothing to do with having no responsibilities or a perfectly regulated nervous system. It's about noticing where you've mistaken familiarity for truth.

She talks about the running dialogue that keeps so many high performing women small: I'm not the kind of woman who does that, I'm not ready for that room, people like me don't get to do that. Ally calls these inherited ceilings, old stories and old patterns, and if you're a high performer, you may have already outgrown several old versions of yourself while still carrying invisible limits from who you used to be.

You'll hear Ally's simple practice for spotting where this shows up for you: choosing one area (money, visibility, leadership, love, creativity, health, influence or freedom), naming the limit you've accepted, and asking what would become possible if this limit wasn't the whole truth.

You don't need to leap immediately. You just need to loosen the grip of the old story. There's more available to you than your old limits could possibly imagine.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on How to Build Confidence
    2026/09/06

Nobody has ever asked Ally to help them feel less confident. It's the one thing that comes up in almost every conversation she has with leaders and high performing women, and yet most people are waiting for it to just show up.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP breaks down why confidence rarely arrives before action, it's built by taking it. She explains why she believes confidence is really courage compounding: the more you step into discomfort and survive it, the more evidence your nervous system collects that you're going to be okay.

Ally shares her own experience building the confidence to speak on stages in front of large audiences, and why that took deliberate, repeated discomfort rather than a lucky bolt of self-belief. She also unpacks the "echo of life" idea, the effort you put in today doesn't always show up straight away, and the size of the delay is usually proportionate to the size of the goal.

You'll hear why thinking your way into confidence doesn't work any better than thinking your way into fitness, and the one question Ally wants you asking before you take your next step: what would the confident version of me do today?

If you've been waiting to feel confident before you move, start smaller than your ego wants and more consistently than your fear expects. One tiny, brave move today, then let the evidence land.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Building Self-Trust
    2026/08/30

Self-trust gets mistaken for always knowing the answer, never doubting yourself, or being perfectly confident in every decision. Ally reckons that's actually a sign something has gone a little sideways.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP unpacks what self-trust really is: the relationship you have with yourself when things get uncertain, and whether you can dig into your own instinct and go, I've got me.

She talks candidly about her own experience running a business, travelling most weeks and raising four young kids, and how asking for support before she collapses has been one of the hardest lessons in trusting herself. She draws the distinction between trusting your capability to get things done and trusting yourself to actually honour your own needs, say no when something isn't aligned, and disappoint someone when the truth requires it.

You'll hear why self-trust is built through follow-through and the small promises you keep to yourself, not through perfectionism, and Ally's simple journaling prompt for spotting where you've been breaking trust with yourself, without any of the shame.

If you've been waiting to feel more confident before you trust yourself, this episode is the reminder that it works the other way around. Pick one small promise today, and keep it.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Future Self Energy
    2026/08/23

"Future self energy" can sound like code for 5am cold plunges, celery juice, and a version of you that's got it all figured out. That's not what this episode is about.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP reframes future self energy as something far simpler than perfection: it's permission. Permission to stop waiting until life calms down, until confidence arrives, until someone hands you approval, and to start moving like the woman you're becoming right now.

She talks about how your future self isn't sitting years away waiting for you to catch up. She's already here, already part of you, and you can borrow her clarity, her courage and her standards today. Ally shares the exact questions she asks her own clients to pull them out of autopilot: what would the next version of me choose right now, in this email, this meeting, this price, this yes or no.

You'll hear Ally's simple, repeatable practice for backing yourself before the external evidence arrives, and why she wants you to stop waiting for some "certificate of life" that says you're ready. You get to write that one yourself, and you can put today's date on it.

If you've been waiting for the right moment, the right confidence, or someone else's permission before you move differently, this episode is your reminder that she's already here. Stop waiting and start acting like it.

  • Ally Nitschke's Pep Talk on Owning Your Power
    2026/08/16

Owning your power sounds like it should be a big, dramatic moment: walking into a room to a soundtrack, commanding every eye. In reality, it's much quieter than that, and for a lot of high performing women, it's something they keep waiting for permission to do.

In this episode of Food for the Soul, Ally Nitschke CSP unpacks what owning your power actually looks like day to day: not dominating a room, but trusting what you already know and stepping into your moment without waiting for someone else's approval first.

She talks about why so many high performing women shrink their own sentences: softening a price, padding a boundary with three paragraphs of explanation, holding back a name they should have already put forward. And she reminds you of one simple truth: your power is not something someone else gives you. Titles, applause and recognition are lovely, but they were never the source.

You'll hear Ally share a line from Brené Brown that she keeps coming back to, don't shrink, don't puff up, just stand your sacred ground, and she'll help you spot exactly where you're shrinking right now: in a meeting, in your pricing, in your leadership, in your visibility, or in a relationship.

If you've been waiting for someone to tell you that you're ready, credible or capable, this episode is your permission slip. Consider it granted.
