    The mind-body connection. You've heard the term. Maybe you think it's about yoga or stress management.

    But what if it's actually about something much deeper?

    What if your body has been trying to communicate with you all along… and you've been taught to ignore it?

    In this foundational episode, I break down what the mind-body connection actually means, why we're so disconnected, and what changes when you start listening.

    What You'll Learn:

    What the mind-body connection actually is

    It's not just wellness talk. Your body is constantly communicating with you… through signals, responses, tension, and wisdom. Most of us have been taught to override these signals and let our minds run the show. But your body knows things your mind doesn't.

    Why we're disconnected from our bodies

    We're taught to be productive at all costs. Push through. Follow the path. Check the boxes. Over time, we stop listening to our bodies and try to operate purely from the mind. This is why so many people hit their 40s or 50s with a "midlife crisis", it's actually your body finally making you pay attention.

    What your body is actually doing

    Your body is trying to work WITH you. It sends signals (like my teeth-grinding wake-up call). It responds before your mind can analyze (like my daughter's sacral authority). It holds tension in specific places for specific reasons. When you suppress these signals, your body eventually does something more dramatic to grab your attention.

    Simple ways to start reconnecting

    Start with awareness. Ask your body in the morning: "What do you need today?" Check in throughout the day. Notice where you hold tension. Take breaks. Try talking to your body.

    In this anchor episode, I walk you through the 4 phases everyone goes through on the journey from feeling overwhelmed to living in alignment. Understanding which phase you're in helps you know exactly what you need and what kind of support will help you most.

    The 4 Phases:

    Phase 1: Running on Someone Else's Manual

    You're doing what you're 'supposed' to do, but something feels off. Decision fatigue, burnout, ignoring your body's signals. Living according to someone else's definition of success. The realization: something needs to change.

    Phase 2: Understanding & Seeing the Patterns

    You're waking up to what's actually happening. Seeing patterns, learning about your unique wiring (Human Design, mind-body connection, decision-making styles). Exciting but overwhelming. The work: learning, exploring, experimenting.

    Phase 3: Integration & Practice

    The messy middle. You're applying what you've learned to real life… making aligned decisions, setting boundaries, building new habits, working through conditioning. Requires patience, support, and permission to experiment. This is where the real transformation happens.

    Phase 4: Embodied Aligned Living

    Living in alignment more often than not. Trust in your body's wisdom. Clarity on what's yours. Life reflects who you actually are. Still learning and growing, but the practices are integrated into how you operate.

  • #58: How to Let Go and Go With the Flow Without Losing Yourself in the Process

    Spring is here… a time for blooming, releasing, and beginning again. But how do you actually let go? Not the vague "just let it go" advice, but real, practical ways to release control and trust the process without giving up on your dreams.


    In this episode, I share the "fold in the cheese" problem (if you know, you know), why we're not actually in control anyway, and 3 simple practices that help you release what's no longer serving you, including a life-changing song I discovered in a salt cave in Egypt.

    You still hold your intentions and vision. What you're releasing is the attachment to HOW things have to happen and the expectation of a specific outcome. This creates spaciousness for the universe to work in ways you couldn't have planned.

    If you're holding on to stories from your past (needing to prove yourself, expecting certain treatment), you're telling yourself that's what to expect in your future too. Recognize what you're holding on to before you can release it.


    5. Music can shift your frequency instantly
    Try listening to "I Release Control" by Alexa Sunshine Rose or "Divine Surrendering" by Doe Paoro. Sit with the intention to release, close your eyes, and let the music do the work. It's like a meditative state that helps you come back to the present moment.

  • #55: Lunar Authority in Human Design: The 28-Day Decision Cycle [Lunar Authority | Decision Making Series]

    What if some people aren't meant to make quick decisions?
    Not because they're indecisive. But because they're designed to move through a full 28-day cycle before deciding.
    This is lunar authority in Human Design. The rarest decision-making style. Only found in reflectors.
    If you're a reflector, your entire chart is white. All nine centers are undefined. You're completely open.
    And because of this, you need time. A full lunar cycle. 28 days.
    During those 28 days, you move through every gate in the Human Design chart. You experience different energies. You have conversations. You observe. You reflect.
