  • What Happens When We Judge Others

  • Do You Want to Lose Weight NATURALLY?

    There are all kinds of ways to force weight loss, but there are only a few ways to do it naturally and gracefully. Fasting space is one of the most powerful, and the way I teach it, the most thoughtful.

    Fasting is open space to allow body fat to fulfill its natural purpose and power our system in the absence of food. This is how we use it, and release it. Fasting space sets an incredible natural foundation for every other practice of health. Choosing healthy foods, eliminating processed foods, moving our body in healthy ways and leaning into our mental health and wellbeing.

  • Fasting for Peace and Healing
    2026/03/02

    Fasting is a path toward metabolic health and healing but its roots go deeper. It reaches down into the core of our humanity. Health should be a unifying force. Health is not political. Our shared humanity is not political.

    War is the antithesis of health and the lowest point of human existence. Already many on all sides of this conflict have been killed. Families shattered, lives destroyed, children killed and terrified.

    Fasting is my response to this. Fasting for peace. Fasting in solidarity with those who are suffering. Fasting for the hope that all people of the world would lean into love at this moment in ordered to bring an end to the cycles of violence destroying our societies.

    I welcome you to join me in this practice today.

  • Overcoming Perfectionism

    One of the greatest barriers to weight loss success is perfectionism. For example, we can set arbitrary rules in our mind and then get into cycles of judgement when we don't meet these rules or self-made expectations. It can keep us from taking any action at all out of fear of failure. This can be paralyzing.

    Let's move beyond this destructive thought process and replace it with a vision of grace and sustainable progress.

    As a society we have not appreciated the profound nature of fasting. This article grounds us in the biological reality of fasting and inspires with a vision of bringing the healing potential into the mainstream of the system.

    The potential is great. The realization of even a fraction of the potential will take much thoughtful, deliberate, compassionate and courageous effort.

    Even if a grand vision like this is not realized in the short term, we can do our part and take the best care of our own selves that we can. Then radiate that health out to the best of our ability.
