  • Showing Up When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed
    2025/11/30

In today’s episode, I open up about something very real and very raw: how I show up for myself when life feels completely overwhelming. Right now, I’m away with work, juggling exams, travel, and a heartbreaking family situation back in the UK — and it has honestly been one of the most emotionally difficult weeks I’ve ever lived through.

I share exactly what’s been happening, how my routines and structure completely fell apart, and how I’ve been finding small ways to look after myself while still trying to be strong for my family, my crew, and myself. This isn’t a polished or perfect episode — it’s honest, messy, and human.

In this conversation, I talk through the small actions I’ve been taking each day to stay grounded: breaking things down into daily survival steps, choosing meals that keep my energy stable, taking walks when I can’t train, listening to music and podcasts to calm my mind, and giving myself permission to feel everything without guilt.

If you’re going through a tough week — grief, stress, burnout, emotional overload — I want you to know you’re not alone. In this episode, I share what’s helping me cope, how I’m keeping myself steady when everything feels chaotic, and why doing one small thing for yourself each day can help you move forward, even if life feels like it’s falling apart.

  • Leading Yourself First
    2025/10/07

In this episode of Fit to Lead, I talk about one of the most important principles in my life and work: leadership starts with you. Before we can inspire or lead anyone else — our crew, our colleagues, our family — we have to show up for ourselves first.

I share a real moment from my own week when flights, meetings and family life collided and left me absolutely exhausted. The easy option would have been to skip my workouts, eat whatever was convenient, and let the chaos take over. But instead, I reminded myself of something I tell my clients all the time: how you show up for yourself sets the tone for everything else.

So I booked myself into a 5 a.m. training class — even though it felt crazy — and once I finished it, everything shifted. I felt organised, grounded and fully ready to lead my day, my team and my family. That one choice created momentum.

In this episode, I share simple ways you can lead yourself daily, even when life is chaotic: picking one small habit each day, giving yourself mindful moments, starting the morning with gratitude, creating movement wherever you are, building awareness through reflection, and protecting your energy with small resets.

Leading yourself first is about integrity, self-trust and consistency. When you show up for you, the ripple effect touches everyone around you — your family, your friends, your team, and your own future self.

  • The Power of Consistency
    2025/10/07

In this episode of Fit to Lead, I talk about one of the biggest foundations of success, confidence, and wellbeing: consistency. It’s the thing that separates people who talk about their goals from people who actually reach them. And trust me — this isn’t about perfection. It’s about choosing small, realistic actions that support your health, energy and mindset, even on the busiest days.

I share a real moment from my own week where long work days left me without any meal prep and completely out of routine. Instead of slipping into old habits, I focused on controlling what I could control — making smarter choices at the supermarket, prioritising protein, moving my body in small ways, and staying grounded in the mindset that being consistent matters far more than being perfect.

I also share practical ideas for eating well on work trips, simple exercises you can do at home or in a hotel, the importance of getting fresh air, and how tiny habits compound over time to create long-term results. Consistency is how you lead yourself, build confidence, and keep your energy strong — even when life is chaotic.

If you’ve ever felt like your routine falls apart when work gets busy, this episode will give you simple tools and reassurance that showing up in small ways counts more than you think.
