• Ruin Your Plans | John 20:21
    2026/08/27

What do you do when life doesn’t go according to plan?

Most of us have an idea of how our lives are supposed to look. We make plans, set goals, chase dreams, and imagine what comes next. But sometimes the path changes. Opportunities disappear. Doors close. Unexpected circumstances force us to rethink everything.

In Episode 15 of Everything In Between, we talk about what it means to trust God when your plans fall apart.

Looking at John 20:21, Jesus says, “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” That invitation challenges us to see our lives differently. What if following God's purpose isn't just about discovering one perfect plan for your future? What if God is sending you to live with purpose right where you are?

    Featuring:

    Christina Shaver, Senior Pastor

    Jazlyn Jackomis, Kids Ministry Coordinator

Ben J. Savage, Worship Arts Minister

    MaKenzie Johnson, Communications & Operations

We explore the difference between having goals and holding our plans too tightly, why change can be so difficult, and how to trust God when you don't know what comes next. We also talk about recognizing opportunities to live out your faith in ordinary, everyday moments.

  • Ruin Your Relationships | Luke 6:27-36
    2026/08/20

What do you do when someone gets under your skin, hurts you, disagrees with you, or just seems impossible to understand?

In this episode of Everything In Between, we take on one of Jesus’ most challenging teachings: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.” (Luke 6:27–36)

That sounds great in theory… until you actually have to do it.

We talk honestly about conflict, forgiveness, difficult relationships, unexpected friendships, boundaries, and the temptation to divide people into “us” and “them.” From friendships that started off badly to relationships that have grown through faith, we explore what happens when we stop seeing people as obstacles and start seeing them as people created by God.

    Featuring:

    Christina Shaver, Senior Pastor

    Melissa Johnson, Next Gen Minister

    Addison McBride, TSM Summer Intern

    Jazlyn Jackomis, Kids Ministry Coordinator

Jesus calls us to something different—not simply to love the people who love us, but to love people differently.

If you've ever struggled with a difficult relationship, wrestled with forgiveness, experienced conflict with someone you love, or wondered how your faith should shape the way you treat people who don't agree with you, this episode is for you.
