  • What a lively discussion we had today! In this episode we talked about the importance of listening to our bodies. What does that mean? Well, the fact is that our emotions are stored in the very cells of our bodies, so there is definitely a scientific connection between our thoughts/emotions and our bodies! So, why not check in with your body and see what comes up for you emotionally? Even journal about it! When we play the victim to our circumstances, it can be easy to have the “It is what it is” mentality. And this can then cause our bodies to respond in alignment to that belief. But the key is AWARENESS. This is how we take our power back.

    So, stay in awareness. Listen to what your body is trying to tell you. Use your body to create the emotions you desire, like allow yourself to jump up and down and get excited if you feel like you are in a slump. Or like Sara shared, listening to her body meant to choose restorative yoga over her normal workout! Your body will definitely talk to you, but the question is: are you listening?
