  • Profits Gained Through Employee Development with Connie Whitman (Episode 388)
    2025/07/02

“Every enterprise is a learning and teaching institution. Training and development must be built into it on all levels—training and development that never stops.” — Peter Drucker

    Check Out These Highlights:

Lately, I feel like the pendulum is moving away from caring for employees and clients to being more transactional about earnings and the bottom line. It makes me sick because business should be easy and profitable, with a win-win philosophy, not a transactional approach of ‘dog-eat-dog’.

Big businesses often lose sight of the power and importance of developing their human capital for several interconnected reasons. During today’s show, I’d like to break down some of the key causes of this lack of respect for employees within organizations that seems to be at the root of this lack of care and respect.

    About Connie Whitman:

Known for her high-energy, passionate, heart-centered, and enthusiastic approach to sales, teaching and coaching, Connie Whitman has been the CEO of Changing the Sales Game for 25+ years helping banks and credit union leaders and sales teams build powerhouse organizations.

  • The Freedom to Make An Impact in Your Life with AJ Vassar (Episode 387)
    2025/06/25

“Freedom is the open window through which pours the sunlight of the human spirit and of human dignity.” — Herbert Hoover

    Check Out These Highlights:

The word "freedom" has different meanings for different people. For me, it means having the opportunity and the choice to do what I do every day. My dad came to this country from Italy when he was 20. Growing up, he used to tell us that we could do anything we chose. He also shared that since we have the freedom in this country, he taught us to work hard and show up every day. Be honest and kind, and do the right thing. So, for me, freedom doesn’t mean doing what I want at the cost of hurting someone else.

All these lessons have allowed me to make choices that were right for me and my family. Some worked out well, and others were life lessons that helped me grow and become the person I am today.

What does freedom mean to you?

My guest today is A.J. Vassar, the founder of the Pre-Sold Client System and Small Stages Big Profits. He helps entrepreneurs turn their message into money by getting in front of the right audiences, ready to buy. A.J. is on a mission to replace cold leads and hard sales with trust-based visibility that attracts ready-to-buy clients. His systems create income, impact, and influence—without the noise of ads or algorithms.

  • Why CCOs Are a Company's Secret Weapon with Charley Johnson (Episode 386)
    2025/06/18

Why CCOs Are a Company's Secret Weapon with Charley Johnson (episode 386)

"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.” John Quincy Adams

    Check Out These Highlights:

Leadership is so much more than a title, such as CEO, CFO, or EVP. I have seen great leaders who have no title at all; they care deeply, show up big every time they arrive at work, and inspire others to do the same. Inspiring your team and growing their skills is truly the job of great leaders.

Yet, I see it all the time, where our corporate leaders, especially in large companies, have lost sight of the human perspective, and it’s all about shareholder value. Shareholders are essential, yet not at the cost of the people who create the profit. So what are we doing wrong?

    About Charley Johnson:

Charley has 20+ years in corporate as a business owner, 7 years in non-profit as the president of the Pay it Forward Foundation, and 10 years with an enlightened teacher. The combination of these three things creates a unique set of skills that will be crucial for companies and their employees moving forward. He is working to bring the position of Chief Consciousness Officer to the forefront of the business world and into all companies.
