People say: "Just follow your heart." "Trust your vibes." "Go with your gut." Today we're told that truth is found by searching our own feelings. But what happens when life gets heavy, tragedy hits, or your internal vibes run completely dry?

Relying on our own feelings to navigate life is exhausting. The good news is that God didn't leave us stranded in a maze of spiritual guesswork. He didn't send a vague cosmic energy — He broke into real history to speak directly to us.

This week in "Beyond the Vibes," we continue our Always Be Ready series as Pastor Ben Kuerth walks through Acts 17, where the Apostle Paul stands in the middle of Athens — a city full of altars, ideas, and spiritual options — and introduces them to the "unknown God" who made the world, is not far from any of us, and proved it by raising Jesus from the dead. Diez hombres clamaron a Jesús pidiendo misericordia, y Él sanó a los diez. Pero solo uno, un samaritano, un extranjero, regresó para darle las gracias. What did the very first church get right? Not a building, not a program — Acts 2:42-47 tells us they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. No strategy deck, just ordinary people walking together in real community, and God added to their number daily.

Here in Doral, Miami, Miami Gardens, Hialeah, and across South Florida, that same pattern is still how God builds His Church today — not through busier calendars or bigger events, but through devoted relationships where the Gospel is shared, believers are formed in the Word, and disciples are released to multiply.

What happens to a church's mission when a leader steps away? In 2 Timothy 2:1-2, Paul gives Timothy the answer before he even asks the question: take what you've heard and entrust it to faithful people who will be able to teach others also. One verse, four generations of discipleship — Paul to Timothy, Timothy to faithful men, and faithful men to still others.

This isn't a calling reserved for pastors and elders. Here in Doral, Miami, Miami Gardens, Hialeah, and across South Florida, God multiplies His mission through the ordinary relationships He's already placed you in — a parent forming a child, a Connect Group leader mentoring someone new, a friend simply passing on what grace has given them. Faith is caught as much as it's taught.

Jesus already sees you as holy and complete — so why does the Christian life still feel like a work in progress? That's not the same as having it all figured out. Growth isn't about flawless performance — it's about formation.
