This week Karyn Farrar-Perkins joins us to talk about the importance of resisting ‘colorblind education” and instead empowering children to embrace their identity in order to greatly impact all of our children’s learning. She also speaks on how we should examine what we learned in school in order to rid what we pass on to future generations. Specifically, she talks about how racial inferiority and superiority are  shaped and reinforced at every level of the educational system.
