One thing that's become increasingly clear to me over the last several weeks is that some aspects of creating a matriarchal economy are a CHOICE.

And that by making these choices on the daily we can create the matriarchal economy.

I know that sounds too simple, but it's not.

Look, I have no doubt that exiting the matrix will absolutely involve a fight in some ways.

We will have to fight to protect nature, to protect women and children from harm and exploitation.

This is where having money and other resources will matter the most.

But right now I just want to focus on the parts that are a CHOICE.

Focusing on what you can control.

I sat down with Wren Farris (Season 6, Episode 2) to talk about money mistakes.

Money mistakes can mean LOTS of things, like not separating your personal and business expenses, underpricing your services, not setting aside money for taxes.

I thought that was the conversation we're having, but something completely unexpected came up, and you can detect the exact moment it occurred.

When we actually dropped in and started talking, we landed on a HUGE money leak for women, especially.

I first heard about ROSCA's (or susu in Nigeria) about 8 years ago from a dear acquaintance in my New Haven social justice community, and I invited today's guest to come on to the podcast and share all the details of how to run them with you.
