We live in a world where feminism is taught as fact—and as the only path to human flourishing. Yet decades into the feminist revolution, we are no closer to happiness. Even conservative Christian churches have embraced its ideas, leaving our young women vulnerable to an ideology that promises freedom but delivers confusion and dissatisfaction. Here we discuss the lies of feminism, how they are destroying our world, and how to break free.

  • Episode 1.7: Why We Crave Feminism
    2026/10/20

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

Feminism is everywhere and everyone seems to agree with it, but it doesn't take root in the Word of God. So why do we love it so much? Why do women seem to crave this type of life?

    *****************

    • “Whatever God creates, Satan counterfeits.” (Mark Driscoll)
    • Satan desperately wants to destroy this design and he does that by attacking men first.
    • Feminism is a direct response to bad men either doing too much (domineering over women) or doing nothing (acting in passivity). Both acts are sinful on the part of the man, but that does not excuse women for acting sinfully as well. Remember that we are responsible for our own sin.
    • Feminism, at its best, is just reversing the roles and excusing abuse from women towards men and other women.
    • Feminism expects 100% buy-in from everyone. If you don’t support feminism then you need to be put in your place and shut up.
    • But isn’t that what feminist say they’re fighting against? Aren’t they claiming men are doing that?
    • So why is it ok for women to be abusive and not men?
    • Ultimately, feminism makes us feel like we are in charge; like we have some sort of control over life and can determine our futures. That’s why we want it: control.
    • When we operate under God’s design, then we must submit to God.

    Questions to ask yourself:

    1. Do you notice any defensiveness rising in you toward the lies we discussed today? What might that reveal about an inner conflict you’re carrying?
    2. Which Scripture from today’s teaching is God prompting you to study more deeply? How might understanding His Word more fully shift the way you live and believe?
    3. How do I respond to godly masculinity? Do I reject it or honor it? If honoring it seems difficult for you, ask God to bring healing and clarity. And if it’s something you value, pray that He protects your heart from the lies in our world that all masculinity is toxic.
    4. Where in my life do I crave control? What might it look like to surrender those areas to God and trust Him to be in control?

  • Don’t be feminine but also make sure you’re feminine
    2026/10/13

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

The church (and feminism) teaches a really confusing rule when it comes to how women dress: You better not dress feminine because you'll make your brother sin but you also better dress feminine because otherwise you're not honoring the body gave you! But what are we missing?? DISCERNMENT! Listen to this episode to hear what the Bible actually has to say about it!

    *************

Lie #1: Godly femininity is equal to masculinity.

    • Proverbs 31:30
    • Proverbs 31:
      • Verse 17 — “She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong.” (physical strength)
      • Verse 12 — “She does [her husband] good, and not harm, all the days of her life.” (emotional strength)
      • Verse 15 — “[she] provides food for her household” (physical provision)
      • Verse 21b — “all her household are clothed in scarlet.” (physical provision)
      • Verse 25b — ”the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” (intellectually strong)
      • Verse 26 — “She looks well to the ways of her household” (physical provision)
    • Song of Songs
    • 1 Samuel 16

Lie #2: Freedom in Christ means I can dress however I want

    • John 16:8
    • Romans 2:4
    • Romans 14:13-23

    Solution: Middle Ground = Discernment

    • Psalm 40:6-8
    • Psalm 50:8
    • Psalm 51:16
    • Isaiah 1:11-31
    • Jeremiah 7:21-23
    • Hosea 6:6
    • Hebrews 10:4-10

    Questions to ask yourself:

    1. Do you notice any defensiveness rising in you toward the lies we discussed today? What might that reveal about an inner conflict you’re carrying?
    2. Which Scripture from today’s teaching is God prompting you to study more deeply? How might understanding His Word more fully shift the way you live and believe?
    3. Do I focus more on rules than on the intentions of my heart? Are there rules that I need to release so that I can cling to my heavenly Father instead?
    4. Do I claim “freedom in Christ” to allow myself to do things that may not honor, respect, or serve my brothers- and sisters-in-Christ? What do I need to sacrifice to the Lord so that my heart is honoring Him?

  • Children are Distractions and Burdens. Stay focused! (Lie #4)
    2026/10/06

Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

Ever been told children are a distraction or a burden? Me, too! But the problem is that scripture doesn't agree with that. So, if we are agreeing with scripture then we are also believing that children are a blessing from God and should be desired and loved!

    ************************

Lie #1: You have to give up so much to raise children.

    • Psalm 127:3 says, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him".

Lie #2: Having children destroys your body. Be ready to be weak and to pee your pants every time you sneeze or laugh too hard.

    • Proverbs 23:25 "May your father and mother rejoice; may she who gave you birth be joyful!”

    Lie #3: Children are expensive.

    • Psalm 127:3 "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him".
    • John 15:12-13 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”

Lie #4: Why would anyone want to bring children into this messed up world?

    • Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them. And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on earth.’”
    • Genesis 9:1 “And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.’”

Lie #5: When you have children you have to focus on them instead of focusing on God’s calling for you.

    • 1 Corinthians 7:7-8
    • Psalm 139:13-14 “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”
    • Psalm 8:4 “What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”
    • John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
    • 1 John 3:1a & 2 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are…Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.”
    • 1 John 4:9-11 “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
    • 1 Peter 4:8
    • Galatians 5:1

    Questions to ask yourself:

    1. Have you been taught that children are a burden and/or distraction? If so, pray that God walks you through this lie and shows you the truth. If not, stop right now and praise God for his blessing to you!
    2. If you’re a mom, think about this: have you been reflecting God’s love to your children lately? And if you’re not a mom, ask God to give you His heart for children—whether that’s for your future family or for the kids already in your life.
    3. Do you notice any defensiveness rising in you toward the lies we discussed today? What might that reveal about an inner conflict you’re carrying?
    4. Which Scripture from today’s teaching is God prompting you to study more deeply? How might understanding His Word more fully shift the way you live and believe?
