Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.
We're told we should "do it all" but when we try we inevitably get overwhelmed and fail. So, the question must be: Are we supposed to do it all? Thankfully the answer is simple: NO! We are supposed to stand in the role that God gave us, not the one the world puts on us.

Episode 4: If you do it all, then you’re really serving God
- Work a full time job, raise your kids, cook all the homemade meals, make sure your house is always social media worthy, volunteer for all the school and church events, and don’t forget to pick up a hobby on the side while also working out every day. It’s what every woman should be doing if they are really going to be serving God.

- The problem is not the monologue. The problem is the conclusion that people come to from the monologue: that the patriarchy is the cause of this issue.
-God created men and women to fill the respective roles for a reason: both jobs are necessary for the prosperity of people.
-God created male and female in the Garden of Eden–in perfection.
- Genesis 2:18: Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
- 1 John 4:18: There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
- 1 John 4:7-8: Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Questions to ask yourself:
1. Do you notice any defensiveness rising in you toward the lies we discussed today? What might that reveal about an inner conflict you’re carrying? (Often, defensiveness signals a battle within ourselves more than it does a problem with the idea itself. Where might God be inviting you to find peace and confidence in His truth rather than the false truth of this world?)
2. Which Scripture from today’s teaching is God prompting you to study more deeply? How might understanding His Word more fully shift the way you live and believe?
3. Do I ever feel like I have to “do it all”? Are there areas where I might be striving for recognition, control, or approval instead of simply serving God faithfully in the role He’s given me?
4. Is there hurt from men in my life that might be shaping how I live today? If so, ask God to begin healing those wounds so you can live in the freedom He offers. Sometimes walking through that healing with a biblical counselor or trusted mentor can be a really helpful step.
