See, the guys decided to be timely for once and also professional for once by rushing through production a discussion of the new blockbuster, Civil War, an Orwellian dystopia if ever there was one. To prepare, they even vowed to watch the film not once, but twice! Good intentions pave the road to hell, however, and they ran out of steam after the first watch. (The movie is NOT very funny.) When it came time for the second watch and subsequent recording live in situ, the siren song of a 4/20 retrospective of Linklater's masterpiece, Dazed and Confused, lured them away from their intended destination, and up to the balcony of Studio 1 and into the last day of school, 1976. What follows is what happens when you mix utopia and dystopia--a swirl of all the topias.
