    LaKota Scott is Diné mother from White Mesa, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation. She is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a Certificate in Natural Childbirth, a doula, a childbirth educator, and an Indigenous health advocate. She completed her naturopathic medical training at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree specializing in Indigenous Health at the University of North Dakota. She practices at Nurture Integrative Health in Tigard, OR.​
