It's Always Something | Special Guest Jahmal Potter

Just when you think you've got life figured out, here comes another curveball.

In this episode of Can't Catch a Break, Reece Arthur sits down with Jahmal Potter for a conversation about life's unexpected twists, the challenges that never seem to stop coming, and finding a way to keep moving forward when the universe apparently has other plans.

Because let's face it—sometimes you get through one obstacle only to find another waiting around the corner. And just when you think you're finally catching a break? Surprise! 😂

But resilience isn't about having a perfect life or avoiding the punches. It's about learning to roll with them, adapting when things don't go as planned, and refusing to let life's setbacks have the final say.

Jahmal reminds us that we can't always control what happens next, but we can choose how we respond.

Life will always have another twist. The question is: what are you going to do with it?

  • Live Life Authentically

Live Life Authentically | Special Guest Vincent Van Den Broeck

Life doesn't always go according to plan. Sometimes it throws so much shit your way that you wonder how you're supposed to keep moving forward.

In this episode of Can't Catch a Break, Vincent Van Den Broeck joins Reece Arthur for a conversation about embracing life's challenges, living authentically, and learning to build a life that's genuinely your own.

Rather than running from the difficult moments, this conversation explores what it means to face them, accept the things we cannot change, and find the courage to keep moving forward.

Because living authentically isn't about having everything figured out. It's about being honest with yourself, embracing the messy parts of life, and refusing to let your struggles define your future.

Sometimes the life you build becomes the very thing that saves you.

  • Truth Will Set You Free
    2026/10/19

Season 2, Episode 6 — The Truth Will Set You Free | Daman Grewal

Sometimes the hardest truth to accept is the one you've been avoiding.

In this episode of Can't Catch a Break, Daman Grewal joins Reece Arthur for a conversation about setting boundaries, navigating difficult business partnerships, and learning that protecting your peace sometimes means making decisions that aren't easy.

We explore the challenges of trusting the wrong people, recognizing when a relationship or business partnership is no longer serving you, and understanding that setting boundaries isn't about being selfish. It's about knowing your worth.

But there's another side to this conversation: accountability. Because sometimes the truth isn't just about recognizing what other people have done. It's about taking an honest look at ourselves, acknowledging our own decisions, and deciding what we're willing to accept moving forward.

Life has a way of teaching us lessons we never asked for. Some come through disappointment, others through betrayal, and some through realizing we've been standing in our own way.

The question isn't whether life will throw punches. It's what we choose to do after taking them.

Because sometimes the biggest comeback starts with telling yourself the truth.

  • Showing Up: The Ripple Effect
    2026/10/12

Season 2, Episode 5 — Showing Up: The Ripple Effect | Julie Duncan

Sometimes the biggest difference we make in someone's life starts with something as simple as showing up.

In this episode of Can't Catch a Break, Julie Duncan joins Reece Arthur for a conversation about the power of being present, the importance of supporting others, and how even the smallest actions can create a ripple effect far beyond what we ever imagined.

We explore what it means to show up for the people in our lives, how our experiences shape the way we connect with others, and why the impact we make isn't always something we get to see firsthand.

Because life isn't always about making some grand comeback. Sometimes it's about continuing to show up, even when things get difficult, and realizing that one small act can change someone's entire day—or even their life.

The ripple effect starts somewhere. Why not with you?

  • Finding Hope
    2026/10/05

Season 2, Episode 4 — Finding Hope | Steve Feldman

For years, Steve Feldman found himself caught in a cycle of drinking, drugs, getting sober, and eventually relapsing. He knew what it was like to start over—only to find himself fighting the same battle again.

In this episode of Can’t Catch a Break, Steve opens up about those years, the repeated attempts at sobriety, and what finally began to change. Through recovery meetings, Steve found something he hadn’t expected: God, faith, and a renewed sense of hope.

This conversation isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen. It’s about what can happen when you begin to believe your future can look different.

Steve’s story is proof that relapse doesn’t have to be the end of the story. Sometimes finding your way back takes more than one attempt—and sometimes, somewhere along the way, you find something worth holding onto.

  • It Doesn't Matter the Size of the Punch
    2026/09/28

Season 2 — Episode 3: It Doesn’t Matter the Size of the Punch

Not every punch looks the same—and it doesn’t have to.

In this episode of Can’t Catch a Break, I sit down with the voices behind The Nothing Un-Touched Podcast for a conversation that truly lives up to their name. Nothing is off limits.

We talk about the punches life throws at us in all different forms—from divorce, parenting, relationships and dating to those everyday struggles that might not seem huge to someone else but can feel enormous when you’re the one living through them. Because the truth is, it doesn’t matter the size of the punch. If it’s big to you, it’s big to you.

We get into finding support, keeping things in perspective, having an outlet, laughing through the chaos, and somehow even end up discussing our mutual hatred of Lifetime movies. 😂

It’s real, funny, relatable, and completely unfiltered—the kind of conversation that reminds us that everybody is fighting something.

  • Support and Perspective. A Stronger Tomorrow
    2026/09/21

    🥊 Season 2, Episode 2 — Cris Coniglio

I sat down with Cris Coniglio for a conversation about something we all need at some point in our lives—perspective, support, and somewhere to put the weight of what we’re carrying.

We talked about what it means to surround yourself with people who can support you when life gets heavy, while also finding something that gives you an outlet. For Cris, that became weightlifting and training. During some of the harder times in her life, the gym gave her somewhere to channel her energy, clear her head, and keep moving forward.

We also got into integrity, releasing the burdens we hold onto, and how sometimes the situation itself doesn’t change—but the way we look at it can.

I think there’s something powerful about finding that thing that brings you back to yourself. Maybe it’s lifting. Maybe it’s running, writing, music, faith, or simply having the right person to call. Whatever it is, you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Sometimes a stronger tomorrow starts with changing your perspective today.

  • Building Business and Giving Back
    2026/09/16

    SEASON 2 STARTS NOW. 🥊

We’re kicking off a brand-new season of Can’t Catch a Break with Byron Irwin and a conversation about what success can look like when it becomes about more than just building a business.

Byron and I talk about entrepreneurship, building something that lasts, and the responsibility that can come with success. But what really drives this conversation is giving back—especially creating opportunities, support, and a brighter future for children in the community.

Because building a successful business is one thing. Using what you’ve built to make somebody else’s life better is something entirely different.

Season 2 is about going even deeper into the people, decisions, setbacks, and comebacks that shape our lives—and I couldn’t think of a better conversation to start it.
