概要

Burnt Out Perfectionist is a conversation-style podcast about everyday life, burnout, ADHD, mental health, and the pressure to have it all figured out — hosted by two sisters from different generations.

Sara (millennial) and Eve (gen z) have a large age gap, very different life stages, and surprisingly similar struggles. Each episode feels like sitting in on a real, unfiltered sister conversation — honest, funny, validating, and sometimes a little warped. We’re not experts, therapists, or life coaches. We’re just two sisters talking about real life as it’s happening.

We talk about ADHD and executive dysfunction, burnout and overwhelm, parenting chaos, emotional regulation, healthcare frustrations, perfectionism, pop culture, and the generational differences that show up when you’re raised years apart — without pretending there’s a perfect fix or a five-step solution.

Some episodes are reflective. Some are chaotic. Some are just us laughing through the mess. All of them are rooted in lived experience, not advice culture.

This podcast is for exhausted millennials, neurodivergent adults, gen z listeners navigating adulthood, parents trying to do their best, and anyone who wants honest conversations instead of productivity pressure.

What you’ll find here:

  • real conversations, not lectures
  • lived experiences, not expert takes
  • humor alongside hard topics
  • permission to be imperfect
  • zero pretending we have it all together

If you’ve ever felt behind, overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure if you’re doing life “right” — you’re not alone. You don’t need to fix yourself to be here.

New episodes every Monday at 6 AM PST. Stay as warped and twisted as ever.

  • Was January a Mess or a Lesson? Burnout, Doomscrolling & Getting Through It
    2026/02/09

In this episode (out Feb 9), we do an honest January check-in — the good, the chaotic, and the downright exhausting.

We talk about Blue Monday, doomscrolling, cold rinks, early mornings, and what it really feels like to “just get through” the month.

    This isn’t a glow-up episode — it’s a real, couch-style reflection on burnout, energy, and balance.

  • Our Analogue Bag: Living Slower, Offline & Less Overwhelmed
    2026/02/03

In this episode, we dive into the idea of an analogue bag — a simple, intentional kit for living more offline, more present, and less overwhelmed.

Instead of carrying everything on our phones, we talk about building a physical “slow life bag” filled with tools that help us think, feel, create, and regulate without constant screens.

We chat about: • why we’re craving more analogue living • what actually goes in the bag • how this connects to our vision boards • slowing down without pressure • reducing digital overload • feeling more grounded day to day

This isn’t about productivity or perfection — it’s about finding little ways to feel calmer, more creative, and more like ourselves in a fast, noisy world.

If you’re tired of scrolling, burnout, or feeling mentally fried, this episode might inspire you to build your own analogue bag.

  • What We Actually Want (Part 2) | Vision Boards, Habits & Default Settings
    2026/01/26

In part two of our vision board series, we stop talking about what looks good and start talking about what actually feels good.

We get into why motivation doesn’t work for us, what “default settings” really means, and how we’re trying to build lives that feel doable instead of constantly overwhelming.

From habits over hype, journaling blocks, emotional processing, cozy living, creativity, and letting go of perfection — this episode is all about shifting from catch-up mode to something that actually supports us.

If vision boards have ever made you feel behind instead of inspired, this one’s for you.
