  • 80. What actually happens when you do too much
    2026/05/29

Ever had one of those weeks where everything just feels harder?

You’re more irritated by people. Snapping at the kids. Feeling less patient. More “on edge.” Food feels louder. Your body feels more triggering. Tiny things suddenly feel massive. You feel less like yourself somehow… but you can’t really explain why.

Most women assume they just need to push through…

Or maybe you just brush it aside as “hormones”

But what if those moments are actually telling you something really important and can be avoided in the future?

In this episode, I’m talking about the signs that you might be doing too much, physically, mentally or emotionally and repeatedly walking the path to burnout, hitting a wall or bingeing through the cupboards at 9pm again…especially if you’re someone who’s high-achieving, used to carrying a lot, or has a complicated relationship with food and exercise

    We’re getting into:

    • why the usual signs of overdoing it often go unnoticed
    • the subtle shifts that tend to happen long before burnout or breakdown
    • why exercise affects different women completely differently
    • the hidden emotional weight movement can start carrying
    • and the question I now use with both myself and clients instead of “am I doing too much?”

If you’ve ever felt like your capacity for life keep dipping in and out and you’re not sure why and it creeps into your relationship with food, your ability to handle things or your relationships with the people around you, this one’s for you

And if this conversation feels SUPER familiar and you’re realising your relationship with food, body and movement are taking up far more space in your life than you want or not giving you the sustainable health and joy you wish they would - 1:1 coaching is where we change that - apply here

  • 79. You don't hate your body as much as you think...
    2026/05/09

Before you decide you need to lose weight, cut carbs, start over, get stricter, shrink yourself or “finally get your body together”…

I need you to hear this episode!

You know that moment where you’re exhausted, overstimulated, emotionally wrung out… and suddenly you’re standing in front of the mirror thinking…

    “I HATE my body”
“I need to get back on track”
    “Something has to change”

So the mental spiral begins. Calories. Steps. Cutting carbs. Starting over. Fixing yourself.

But what if your body was never actually the problem?

In this episode, I’m unpacking the hidden pattern of body scapegoating

Where hidden stress and big feelings get redirected onto your body because it feels like the easiest thing to control

So if you’ve ever spiralled about your body after a hard day or stressful week, felt the urge to diet every time life feels overwhelming or found yourself trapped between body obsession and binge/restrict cycles and can’t quite put a finger on why

…this episode will probably shine some light on what’s underneath that

    We’re talking about:

    • why your body becomes the emotional punching bag (and subtle signs you’re taking stress out on your body)
    • the real reason “fixing your body” never creates lasting peace
    • how dieting and control behaviours become coping mechanisms
    • the overlap between body image distress and emotional dysregulation
    • what to ask yourself to stop next Monday turning into another “start over” moment

If you recognised yourself in this episode and you’re tired of constantly trying to fix your life through your body, this is exactly the kind of work we do inside coaching so you can make peace with food and your body, enjoy your one life and pass that relationship onto your kids - apply here

  • 78. Why Summer makes you feel wrong in your body
    2026/04/23

If summer makes you feel like your body has suddenly become a problem to fix

If the approach to it is making you feel like you are behind in some way or “wrong” exactly how you are

I’m going to shift that for you in today's episode

Because the pressure you’re feeling right now isn’t really about your body at all

You might have dieted before and felt better, more confident, more in control, less self conscious

    But at the same time…
You were thinking about food more
    Managing it. Monitoring it.
Trying not to lose the progress
    Never fully switching off

Or maybe you hit a goal weight and the satisfaction slowly dissipates until you move the goalposts again

So why does summer bring this up every year?

And why does changing your body never quite give you the ease or lasting peace you’re actually looking for?

In this episode, I break down what’s really driving this cycle and what actually needs to change if you want to feel calm, confident and present this summer…and every summer thereafter without it depending on your body

Don’t forget to share this podcast with someone you feel might benefit, leave a 5* review so more people can find it

AND if you’re ready to go beyond awareness and actually LIVE these principles in your life so you can feel free from the yo-yo with food, the noise, the constant on edge feeling and feel at peace around food and in yourself no matter where you are or what season it is - your application to 1:1 coaching is here

  • 77. Why you don't actually have body autonomy...
    2026/03/20

You know you have body autonomy

You’ve heard it time and time again, you have autonomy over what you decide to do with your body

    It’s your choice

And yet it doesn’t actually feel like a choice

Not pursuing weight loss feels uncomfortable, distressing, scary, maybe even unfathomable to you

And pursuing it feels urgent, pressured and like your mood, your eating and how you feel about yourself relies on that number trending down (or at least not going up)

And on top of that, it feels like you’re relying on willpower that could topple at any moment, your eating habits can swing excessively and there’s a noise that never quite switches off in your brain around food

What if this wasn’t about your discipline but the fact your choices aren’t actually coming from autonomy (even if you think they are)? 👀

    We’re getting into:

    • Why “my body, my choice” isn’t the full picture
    • The subtle signs your choices or weight loss goals aren’t as autonomous as they feel
    • The hidden pressure shaping your goals (and your yo-yo with food)
    • Why you feel stuck between food freedom and body change
    • And what actually changes when you do have real autonomy

    So get listening

And if you’re ready to get food out of your brainspace, stop feeling like you’re one moment away from bingeing or falling off track and finally make sustainable changes to your eating and your health that feel calm, trusting and come from YOU (not your next diet or accountability challenge)

1:1 coaching is where we build the autonomy in your relationship with food, yourself and your body to do exactly that - you can apply here

P.S. Here’s the anonymous question box I promised for the podcast about GLP-1s/weight loss drugs

  • 76. You’re going about body image wrong and here’s why
    2026/03/13

Ever feel like one body comment, scale fluctuation, or “bad body image day” can spiral into days of overthinking, food chaos, or wanting to fix yourself?

You might assume the goal is to stop being triggered altogether…

But in this episode, I’m sharing why that’s actually an unhelpful aim and the powerful shift I taught a client this week that completely changed how she approached those moments…

If you feel like your mood, eating, confidence or plans can still get hijacked when your body image is activated, this conversation will give you a different way to look at what’s really happening

And how to actually make sustainable changes to how you think, feel and behave around food and your body

And if you’re ready to stop spiralling around food and your body and build a more peaceful, resilient and sustainable relationship with food and your body, you can apply to work with me 1:1 here

  • 74. When "nobody cares what you look like" doesn't work
    2026/02/27

My guess is telling yourself “nobody cares what I look like” or “stop caring what everyone else thinks” hasn’t actually helped calm your thoughts and feelings about your body has it?

You still change outfits six times, check the mirror obsessively, stress over the scale or avoid plans because of how your body looks

In this episode, I break down why that common advice keeps failing you and what you can do instead to stop letting other people’s opinions, comparison or triggering situations control how you feel about your body and the actions you take

If you’re ready to start feeling calmer in your body and more in control your choices, this episode is for you

  • 73. Don’t take health advice from Mike Tyson
    2026/02/19

This week, I’m breaking down WHY that Mike Tyson Super Bowl commercial seriously missed the mark and no, I'm not "reading too much into it"

We dig into why the delivery of this ad did more long term health harm than good, why body size does not equal health and why simplistic “eat real food” messaging misses the complexity of health and sustainable behaviour change.

Along the way, I challenge diet culture myths and explore the hidden influences shaping how we think about food, bodies and health whilst providing YOU with a starting point for supporting your own health long term outside of reductive and shame-based advice

Let's get into it shall we?!

Don't forget if you want to chat (for free) about what sustainable and stress free health would look like for you and the steps YOU personally need to take to support that, DM me "audit" on Instagram and I'll send you my booking calendar for a free health audit call so you can clear up the confusion and have clarity NOW

And if you're ready to be free from food noise, yo-yo patterns with food and dieting and find your sustainable happy middle ground with food, your body and your health, here's the link to apply for 1:1 coaching
