Often we stay bound to place, to a version of ourselves that we struggle to divorce because we fail to truly walk in accountability.

In this season, I have learned that acknowledgement is not accountability. Acknowledgment is recognition, accountability is ownership.

Not owning staying in the same place, the same condition. But owning that it was my decision, my choice that led me here. Accountability says, I recognize I’m here, in the place, this condition. I don’t want to be here again, so there are things I need to shift from to see a different version of myself.

In today’s episode we take a deeper look at King David and one of his greatest acknowledgment and accountability moments. Right after the encounter with Beersheba, the murder of Uriah, her husband, and his restored and reconciled relationship to God through his acknowledgment and accountability.

Accountability requires vulnerability, honesty, and self-awareness.

Have you ever looked at someone and thought, it happened over night for them? It was easy for them? They weee overnight success.

I would to implore you to think a little deeper. To think outside of the hurt of your feelings and emotions to consider the discipline, the consistency, the commitment it took for them to get where they wre.

Even the change in your own life didn’t happen over night. If you haven’t experienced the change and manifestation you’re been expecting, consider if you’ve stopped trying. If you’ve lost the discipline and consistency to see it come to past. Have you been focused on the others that you’re missing what God has spoken over your life and purpose.

Today, we get personal and discuss how when doing the hard work, you’re sure to see the results you’re looking for!

Self-awareness with no changed behavior is self-sabotage. What does that mean? To know what needs to be done or changed, and to not do it is your willing submission to sabotage. Sabotage is not from anyone else, but yourself. You're your own worse enemy.
Galatians 6:4 encourages us to examine our own work that we may rejoice. It's not enough to know what to do, we must put the work in to get it done.
So today, examine in what ways are you self-sabotaging? Is it fear of failure, laziness, lack of purpose? Get out of your own way and allow for the opportunity and space for you to go further than you imagined!
