When we delay to remove and cut things off, it often results in more damaging.

It’s not that we’re unaware of the damage, we fail to address the damage early on , we fail to mitigate to minimize and lessen the extent of the damage.

Maybe you’re afraid of removing it…Maybe you’re not sure what it will look like, what you will look like with it removed?

Have you ever put on a new outfit and you know you look good?? Make up, hair, shoes…everything is doing what it suppose to. But you forget one thing…you forgot to iron the outfit.

So though it looks good, something is off, something isn’t quite right. You keep looking and don’t see it. But someone comes to you and can identity that something’s “off.”

My GodMom called me one day last year after posting some fashion content. She said you look so pretty and I’m so proud of you. But next time, iron your outfit. I appreciated her for loving me enough to bring attention to something I missed.

When our village brings attention to a spot that can offset the goal, take heed, adjust and learn the lesson.

Even if it’s not fully completed by December 31, we have more than enough time to get it started or continue in what set out to do.

And even more encouraging, God is not retrained by time, just our lack of faith. Nothing is impossible with God.
