  • The Good Sleep Guide For Neurodivergent Kids! With Dr Melisa Moore
    2026/04/24

Melisa Moore, PhD, is the author of The Good Sleep Guide for Neurodivergent Kids. A clinical psychologist board certified in behavioral sleep medicine, she works at the sleep center at Rady Children's Health San Diego. She also has a practice in the Los Angeles area working with children, teens, and young adults across the country for a variety of sleep and mood issues, specializing in neurodiversity.

I've talked so much in previous episodes of the podcast about how difficult and unnatural I've found sleep since I was a child and I know for parents of neurodivergent children, sleep issues can cause huge amounts of stress and upset. Melisa was the perfect person to get on the podcast to talk to about how we can help neurodivergent children with sleep problems and potentially also help ourselves too! Enjoy!

  • Stimming, Self Regulation, Safe Spaces & Silliness! With Erin Fung!
    2026/04/17

In possibly my most unmasked and unfiltered episode yet, I've got my bestie, Erin, on to talk about our stims, tics, the ways we self regulate and then a ton of our usual tangents. This episode is a completely natural, unmasked conversation between two really good mates and contains dodgy accents, a load of vocal stims, silly voices and mayhem but hopefully it will be relatable and can help eradicate some of the stigma attached to openly stimming. Enjoy!

  • S.E.N.D. Help! With AuDHDacious Humans!
    2026/03/13

Martha and Jenni met as teachers at the same progressive school where their kids were

students and became each other's children's key teachers. Jenni ran mini shopping trolley

races down corridors with Martha's son for vestibular regulation. Martha provided Jenni's

daughters with peanut balls to bounce on so they could focus enough to write and

calculate Maths whilst reciting favourite Bluey episodes.

Despite 40 years combined teaching experience and knowing exactly what

neurodivergent children needed, they both realised their own AuDHD/PDA kids weren't

school-shaped. Not even alternative-school-shaped. So over 3 years ago, they left their

teaching jobs and the education system and started their real education.

When they couldn't find home ed clubs that could accommodate their demand-avoidant

children, they created Make & Create Club: a flexible, low-demand space where rule

makers, rule breakers thrive. They offer community, advocacy and the freedom to be

    yourself.

Now through AuDHDacious Humans, they provide online support for discombobulated

families to understand sensory systems, reframe behaviour, and ditch systems that break

them. They've lived this experience too, as late-diagnosed AuDHDers, parenting pressure-

sensitive children, unravelling everything they thought they knew about parenting and education.

Some people call it a journey. They call it a reckoning.
