I don't have a seminary degree pedigree. But I have, out of the trenches of life itself, experienced the living Christ. I came to Him- more accurately, He came to me- with His love, mercy, power, and grace on August 18, 1966. He found a broken 20-year-old terrified of life, and more terrified of death. I’ve recorded this podcast to share how Jesus transformed my life that day, how He’s never left me, and what I’ve learned along the way about what separates Christianity from every other religion. And when it comes to where the “rubber meets the road,” Christianity is the opposite of the way humans think and are wired. In short: it would take “a Jesus” to invent a Jesus. And in this podcast, I take listeners on a journey through the Bible to prove it.

  • The Previous Episode Unpacked our Need to be Born Again. This Episode Unpacks how it Happens.
    2026/06/30

In this episode, I point out that the New Testament was written in Greek. With that in mind, I explain that the Greek word translated as "again" in English is "anothen," which means "again" and "above". In addition to presenting verses that explain how being born again happens, I use again and above to guard against thinking that "I am a Christian" when you are not born again - and also thinking that I am "born again" when you are not born again. Note: A Christian is someone who is born again, nothing more, less, or in between. Considering how the church is presenting a watered-down gospel, I fear that thinking I am a Christian when you aren't a Christian is becoming the norm rather than the exception.

  • Jesus, in John 3:3, said what Differs Him from the Founders of Other Religions: "You Must be Born Again. Why did He say that?

In this episode, I take you on a journey through Scripture that will explain why Jesus said, "You must be born again." Also, why does it determine our eternal destiny, and separates Jesus from founders of other religions and what they teach?
