  • #129 - Anthony Khallouf -The Digital Duty of Care Bill Explained
    2026/10/18

🎙 In this episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, Anthony Khallouf is back in the studio, and this time we go through the Online Safety Amendment (Digital Duty of Care) Bill 2026 line by line. Anthony explains why he believes this is the old Misinformation and Disinformation Bill with a new name, why "protecting kids" doesn't add up when under-16s are already off social media, and why the real threat isn't prison but having your reach throttled until your account is worthless.

We read the bill's actual wording on what counts as "harmful" content, including the catch-all clause that lets the government decide, and ask who qualifies as a "journalist" when podcasters and independent creators aren't listed. We also cover the minister's power over design features like share buttons, comments and DMs, and the section that lets the eSafety Commissioner and "approved researchers" run sock puppet accounts.

Anthony also revisits his viral video predicting exactly how the bill would be rushed through Parliament and ticks off how much of it has come true. We react to David Shoebridge calling for political messages to be throttled, look at the new risk-assessment red tape for small businesses, and ask the question every Australian should ask: would you trust your worst political enemy with these powers?

Finally, Anthony explains how to make a submission to the Senate inquiry before the bill is voted on.

  • #128 - Michael Shellenberger - Australia Is the Testing Ground for Censorship
    2026/10/15

🎙 In This Episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with award-winning journalist and Twitter Files reporter Michael Shellenberger, fresh from CPAC and two days of meetings in Canberra, to talk about the Digital Duty of Care Bill and what he calls the push for mass censorship in Australia.

Michael shares what happened when he sat down with Labor Party staffers to discuss the bill, and why he believes they couldn't answer one simple question: what happens when the people you call "extremists" hold these powers? We dig into the part of the bill most people missed: government-authorised "sock puppet" accounts.

Michael explains the history of fake accounts and bot narratives since 2016, why he sees Australia as a testing ground within Five Eyes, and what eSafety and Digital Rights Watch told him when he asked them to justify it.

We also discuss the government going after the algorithm itself, the "My Feed, My Choice" campaign, why Michael believes framing censorship as "care" is so effective, and the government's response to the Bondi attack. Finally, we talk about Australia's "she'll be right" attitude, what Michael calls suicidal empathy, and why he believes free speech is the foundation Western civilisation is built on.

  • #127 - George Mamalis - Is Australia Losing It's Identity?
    2026/10/13

🎙 In This Episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with George Mamalis, South Australian Coordinator for Turning Point Australia, for a wide-ranging conversation about South Australian politics, free speech, national identity, history and Australia’s future.

We discuss South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas and the state’s political direction, before turning to Anika Wells’ recent speech and Marco Rubio’s address in Athens. We also talk about Gina Rinehart and the reaction to the Welcome to Country speech at the Australia Cup, including the debate around booing and freedom of expression.

The conversation then moves from Alexander the Great to one of today’s biggest long-term challenges: falling reproduction rates and what they could mean for the future of society.

  • #126 - David Craig - This Is What’s Happening Inside The AFP
    2026/10/01

🎙 In This Episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with former Australian Federal Police Detective Superintendent Dr David Craig for a wide-ranging conversation about the AFP, national security and the changing relationship between law enforcement and government in Australia.

David spent 22 years with the AFP, working across major investigations, counter-terrorism and covert operations, including deployments to East Timor and Afghanistan.

We discuss David’s concerns about increasing government influence over the AFP and why he believes federal policing needs to remain operationally independent and free from political ideology.

We also discuss AFP funding and resources, where David believes priorities have shifted, and what that could mean for the AFP’s ability to focus on serious crime, counter-terrorism and keeping Australians safe.

Finally, we break down the Bondi attack and David’s criticism of the response from government and authorities, including what he believes went wrong and the lessons Australia needs to learn.

  • Monologue #11 | This Isn’t Online Safety. It’s Mass Censorship
    2026/09/29

🎙 In This Monologue of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I break down what I believe is the Albanese Government’s plan for mass censorship in Australia, hidden behind the language of “online safety” and the Digital Duty of Care Bill.

I pull apart the proposed laws, the powers surrounding the eSafety Commissioner, government-authorised “sock puppet” accounts, algorithms and what this could mean for free speech and political debate online.

They can dress it up however they like. I believe this is about giving government and regulators greater power over what Australians see, say and share online.

This is bigger than online safety. Australians need to understand what is being proposed before these powers become law.

  • #125 - Kane Guglielmi - Tax For You, Tax Exempt For Them?
    2026/09/27

🎙 In This Episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with Australian filmmaker Kane Guglielmi, writer and director of the documentary Common Wealth.

We discuss Kane’s documentary, Australia’s housing and cost-of-living crisis, taxation, government spending and whether the system is actually working for everyday Australians.

We also go hard on the Australia Institute, its political influence and its tax-exempt charity status, questioning why an organisation so heavily involved in shaping political debate receives significant tax concessions.

Finally, we discuss the bigger picture, who really holds influence in Australia and where the country is heading.

    2026/09/17

🎙 In This Episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with Mark Nicholson, the man behind Pauline Hanson’s Please Explain cartoon series and One Nation’s lead candidate for Northern Metropolitan at the upcoming Victorian state election.

We discuss how Please Explain began, working with Pauline Hanson, the controversy surrounding the cartoons and how political satire has become a powerful way of reaching Australians online.

Mark also explains why he’s stepping out from behind the cartoons and into politics, why he decided to run for One Nation, and what he believes needs to change in Victoria.

  • Monologue #10 | One Nation Has Hastie, Lambie & The RSL In Full Meltdown
    2026/09/11

🎙 In this monologue of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I break down the latest attacks on One Nation and why Australian veterans are now being dragged into the political fight.

I discuss Andrew Hastie, Jacqui Lambie and the RSL, including Hastie’s claim that an attack on one veteran is an attack on all veterans. But where was that same support when Ben Roberts-Smith was under attack?

I also look at One Nation’s Secret Harbour by-election win and why I believe Labor and the Liberals have panicked over One Nation’s growing support and are now increasingly working together against them.

Are we watching a coordinated political attack, and are veterans being used as part of it?
