#### Whispers of the Past
Lord Ethan Eldos dirty from the events muse over the reports that he has already received and the implications of such events. Is this the start to something larger or simply goblins being goblins? Their actions seem to point to things being a bit more than meets the eyes.
#### The Interrogation of Slagg
The Goblin Slagg is questioned under a powerful spell that forces one to tell the truth, even nudges the truth from them a bit. What information will they learn about the attack and the machinations behind it?
#### The Missing Blacksmith
Jaina, Regos, Meg, and Dandros will head out of the city walls to [[Durin's Smitty]] to check on the blacksmith for Lord [[Ethan Eldos]]. Upon arrival they will find the shop window is busted and there is a few dead goblins laying here and there. Inside Maris will note that Durin's Axe is not in it's normal place above the counter. The smell of burning flesh is filtering through the shop. Many of his buckets that normally hold tools for miners are empty.
Back in the actual smithing area there will be a goblin sticking out of the forge and two more bodies with obvious axe wounds. They will also find the first drops of blood that isn't goblin blood. Maris will smell the blood and confirm that it's not goblin blood. The blood goes out the back of the shop. There they will find wagon tracks heading north out of town.
#### The Reports Come In
The gathering of the reports from the countryside begin to come in with ill news on nearly ever corner. The southern granaries were safe but one of the northern ones was emptied and the other one was set on fire. They didn't have enough grain for the winter with that loss. Numerous farms were empty with farmers missing, no bodies, but that wasn't uncommon, what was more troubling was the lack of blood, and tools. The miners that had gone missing was troubling as well. But worst of all was Durin Longbeard was missing and left with a struggle leaking a lot of blood.
