概要
Ashton Milford’s twin brother, Noel, is gunned down by outlaw Hank Riley. Noel’s dying wish is for Ashton to marry his intended bride, a woman Ashton knows nothing about. Later, Ashton regrets promising to marry this mystery woman in Noel’s stead and hopes she stays away from the family ranch.
Delia Wayne and her young son, Josh, have lost everything. Only the hope of marriage to a rancher named Noel in Nebraska offers them any sort of future. She and Josh arrive in Planter’s Point, and Delia thinks she will soon wed the man she fell in love with through letters.
To his dismay, Ashton discovers Delia, Noel’s fiancée, has arrived. His parents, Maggie and Fred, welcome her as part of the family, but Ashton resents her presence. His guilt at not informing anyone of his promise to marry Delia rises, and he wants her to return to Boston.
What happens next is an adventure of love and danger; both Delia and Ashton must fight for their lives when outlaw Hank Riley returns to Planters Point.
