Whispers of the Forgotten: Chasing Shadows あらすじ・解説

Whispers of the Forgotten is a suspense-filled archaeological thriller with the emotional resonance of The Lake House, the pacing of The Da Vinci Code, and the atmospheric pull of The Mummy (1999).

Told in a sharp, modern first-person voice, the story follows Evelyn Hart—a brilliant, introverted bookseller with a photographic memory—as she uncovers a hidden letter from her late grandmother. The letter reveals the existence of Elara, a long-lost city buried beneath the ice, and a device called the Heart of the Ancients, an ancient artificial intelligence which contains the knowledge of a forgotten civilization.

The narrative blends intimate emotion (grief, legacy, self-discovery) with high-stakes mystery and global adventure.
