Void Master

On Elibria, nine elements answer to nine relics. Zeryl already carries one of them, and he has no idea. Seventeen years ago, King Poccia Q-Varnise burned the city of Cali-Maktar to the ground. Zeryl was eight. His parents died in the fire, and the king rebuilt the ruins into his capital, Tresca. Now grown, Zeryl lives alone on a hill above it, watching the palace and waiting. The king wants every elemental relic on the planet. Zeryl means to take them first, starting with the fire relic of Asnium, a province of volcanoes, acid worms, and a city where a fire is always burning. Each relic has to be earned, and the trials don't care who survives. The volcano that judges him calls him a deceiver. Then it swallows him whole. What waits on the other side is a land of graves under three moons, a reaper named Laduto, and a black dragon that is Zeryl's own future gone wrong. Winning his way back will cost him more time than he knows. The Elementalist is Book 1 of The Void Master Series, a fast, trial-driven elemental fantasy and the first step into Neo Gentrics' wider Crazy Story universe.
