Who defeats evil when the Chosen One is dead?

After a spell of amnesia, Angeline, Chloe, and Evelyn meet on a Chicago subway train and learn that they’re long-lost sisters with magical powers. But this revelation comes with a catch: The empress of nightmares wants to tear apart their minds to uncover a secret spell buried in their subconscious. To make matters worse, the hero destined to defeat the empress is dead. Now instead of starting college, they’re whisked away to a world bursting with magic. Romantic Angeline is singing siren songs, bookish Evelyn is reading minds, and feisty Chloe is fighting foes. The sisters must now find a way to defend their minds and their world from invasion. On a journey full of monsters, myths, and a dreamy sorcerer or two, these sisters will learn that magic isn’t just about spells, it’s about the dreams you fight for.
