The Spring Maiden Chronicles

A young adult scifi fantasy that echoes the humor and light-heartedness of the movie versions of Princess Bride and Stardust, the beautiful prose of Spring Maiden tells the magical tale of the birthing of a longed-for yet dreaded Spring Maiden. Old aunties in every village whisper fear into young hearts, murky tales of curses and bedlam at the hands of maniacal Spring Maidens. And yet, occasional whispers hint of great bounty, a healing of the world under the gentle murmurs of benevolent Spring Maidens.

Signs of a new Spring Maiden appear, luring Tronder and Miichal through bitter winter into a peaceful valley, rich in early spring. Their goal? To protect the world from the maniacal and to bring forth the benevolent, to gather her twelve champions and unleash her power into the world, so that she might find her true purpose in life.
