After the harrowing adventures of their previous trip into the Human Era ruins, Liam and the girls are ready for a bit of a break. The trip underground taught them where they were strong, and where they needed to improve. And one area that they have decided on is that they need to expand their little adventuring party.

With the pass having thawed, word reaches the members of the Ivory Spear tribe in their hideout at Silverstone valley. The baron that the village owes its allegiance to is moving troops around. Until that the faithful day that chance aligned with fate, and his true worth lay revealed when he met with a dying goddess, someone who had lost hope and all but given up until she felt the call from across the void between dimensions.

Finishing up his first year as a cadet-adept, Desmond’s life is going pretty well as far as he’s concerned. Three beautiful and exotic women love him and have agreed to entwine their lives together. His powers as an Adept have continued to grow as he practices and refines weaving the threads of mana into the world. All while he continues to defy the expectations set by his origins. Sure, he’s still a member of the active military training for one of the most dangerous jobs in the entire Hegemony, but with his girls at his side, Desmond is confident he can handle it.

With winter settling over the land, now is the time to warm the hearth and spend time with family. However, the duties of a champion never truly end to his people. Especially since now is the time to get to know his newest companion better as Samira happily burrows her way into everyone’s hearts with a smile.

Sometimes in life, you feel like the world is out to get you. Nothing ever seems to work out the way you want it to, and everything just goes wrong all at the same time. But you have to bear up under the weight of life and just keep swinging. It can't stay bad forever, right? That is what Casey Sullivan believed when he spent his entire young life in an orphanage, fighting for scraps and doing his best to not get shanked by the youth gangs there. When he had the opportunity to make a difference, he seized it with both hands and did everything in his power to pass the police academy.

A town rescued from its fate. Duty is done and his home is now safe from the threat of the Crooked. Koda Burke was ready for a rest from the breakneck pace he’d endured since arriving on this new world. He’d fought, bled, and killed for the people of Amberpost, and been sent on his way with a pat on the head and a bag of coins by the town council. But at least people escaped the gruesome fate waiting at the hands of the Crooked. That was a good reward at least, right?

Settling into the new pace of his life, Casey Sullivan thought that he’d left behind the idiocy of people with overinflated senses of self worth. But even on another world, around people that worked magic into their everyday life but owed their allegiance to the Norse gods of old, one truth remains: You can’t fix stupid. Thankfully, it’s possible to muffle the idiocy of people that he doesn’t want to deal with, as long as Casey keeps moving.
