Welcome to this collection of poems—a journey through pain, healing, truth, resilience, faith, and hope. These poems were written from places both broken and restored. Misery Speaks Loud shares some of my life events, in hopes to bring more awareness to mental health. Depression is very real. Though adults have become masters at masking their depression, the children are not so great at hiding it. We need to pay attention to our children; we need to listen to our children. Children are the product of their environment. We should not be doing things in front of our children, that we do not want them to imitate. Unhealthy (Toxic) relationships, yelling, cursing and anything else that can bring disruption to a child’s peace.
