In the west, there’s always work for the kind of men willing to get their hands dirty — from rounding stray cattle to stringing barbed wire. Bo Creel and Scratch Morton are just such men. Now they’ve been hired for the one job they’ve never tried: wearing badges — in a little stain of a town called Whiskey Flats.

In need of a break from work and some recent near-death adventures, archaeologist Annja Creed visits France to indulge one of her greatest fantasies: finding D'Artagnan's lost sword. The rapier was a gift from the reigning monarch and has been missing since the 17th century. And Ascher Vallois, one of Annja's treasure-hunting friends, believes he has located the site of the relic.

After risking her life to uncover a Chinese imperial seal, only to have it stolen by a tomb robber, archaeologist Annja Creed feels she has endured one treasure-hunting fiasco too many. But when a mysterious collector offers a reward for a priceless golden elephant, Annja gives in. After all, there are bills to be paid, adventures to be had. The artifact is said to be hidden in an ancient temple in the jungles of Southeast Asia, and Annja must meet with various scholars in order to pinpoint the artifact's location.

The stranger could be insane. Or he just might be our salvation. Archaeologist Annja Creed is more than curious when a decrepit, ancient-looking man visits her, claiming the end of the world is near. The stranger spins wild tales and speaks as if he actually knew King Arthur. But, strangest of all, he insists that Annja is the only one who can stop the horrible event that is about to happen.

When a mysterious man orchestrates an attack on archaeologist Annja Creed and then offers her an assignment, Annja is baffled. But the mission is too intriguing for her to refuse. She must find an object that possesses a sacred and powerful secret offering atonement to anyone who uncovers it — or wreaking havoc on the world.

Hunted by an ungrateful Persian royal family, the rogue agents Samuel and Mehrnaz are on the run to escape the empire they formerly served. Their destination (if they live to see it): the distant fabled land of India. There, on the far side of the Indus, the agents find ancient perils have returned in the weapons-blasted desert left behind by the earth-shattering Mahabharata War. Nightmarish creatures that have grown giant and twisted hunt down their human prey, while other animals have metamorphosized into something stranger still.

Zhao, a Chinese industrialist of immense influence and power, was a patriot and had struggled for years to find a way to elevate China to it's rightful place in the world order. During his years of planning he had come across the ancient Chinese concept of the Assassin's Mace and used it as his inspiration. With this wisdom, he created a plan to destabilize the West and elevate China to become the only true world superpower, but even with years of careful and painstaking planning, would his plan be successful?

It's become the fastest - and surest - way to get from here to eternity. Somebody is playing the railroads like a giant train set, causing high-speed derailments that strew the rails with headless victims from coast to coast. And could the repeated sightings of a ghostly samurai swordsman be fact or mass hysteria? As the carnage continues unchecked and the body count mounts, Dr. Harold Smith suspects the train terror is merely a decoy for the real target.

Not that things were so hot before, but when a huge earthquake guts Mexico, nobody wants to hang around, especially with all sorts of demonic doings by the barbaric gods of old Mexico, released from hell when the earth ruptured. Not satisfied with great takeout, the ancient Aztecs are hungry for the lifeblood of the entire continent. It's up to Remo and Chiun to go south of the border and root out the unhuman mind who is uniting downtrodden Indian tribes into a ferocious guerrilla army and leading them into a new dark age of bloodlust and superstition.

Budget cuts are every administrator's nightmare, but CURE's own Dr. Harold Smith has a real whopper. A battle over bullion prompts Chiun to seek better pastures and he's dragging Remo along. Word spreads like wildfire: the fabled assassins of the House of Sinanju are hiring out to the highest bidder. While the desperate Dr. Smith is panicking big-time, rogue nations are trying to beat out, burn down and bump off the competition - before the highest bid gets the goods.

The Sinanju Rite of Attainment sounds like a nightmare for Remo Williams. But as the disciple of the last Korean Master, he can't play hooky. Bounced around the world to perform the Labors of Hercules, Remo finds the days no joy and the nights sheer hell that stretch his warrior skills to the limit. And when the final challenge comes, Remo realizes that somebody's dying is the only prize to be won....Live the adventure!

When a diabolical superfoe acquires a superlaser that uses hypercolor to control emotion, he throws the world into a kaleidoscope of deadly mood swings. CURE goes on red alert. And if things aren't black enough, a rival nation has seen the mind-blowing potential of beaming mood-altering color from satellites...and rendering entire nations defenseless.

Remo is set to teach a few lessons in hospitality at Florida's top tourist attraction, but his mind is made up. He is a free agent. No more CURE, no more trying to solve America's problems. But the nation goes into a state of shock when a Lee Harvey Oswald look-alike is nailed trying to shoot the President and Remo can't ignore the call of duty - and a sense of déjà vu. Soon, a meddling television anchorwoman and strange transformations at the White House leave him feeling that he has landed a role in a bizarre Hollywood thriller.

Could Dr. Harold Smith be Remo Williams's biological father? Not only is Remo a few decades behind in Father's Day cards, but the discovery has sparked the volatile relationship between Remo and a very jealous Chiun and Smith - who can't let his own son remain CURE's expendable enforcement arm.

When a smooth-talking artificial-intelligence computer chip known as Friend covertly hijacks the new computer system at CURE, Harold Smith and his supersecret crime-fighting organization log on to turbo trouble. Friend's fiendish strategy screws up the data base so efficiently that both Remo and Chiun quit - bad timing now that Friend has released a stealth virus that will attack systems everywhere, holding the world hostage to technoterrorism.

New Age diva Squirrelly Chicane - the hottest channeler the side of Atlantis - has made millions getting high on the afterlife. But big bad China is playing a game of turf war - and Tibet is the unlucky first contestant.

In an effort to rule 21st century Earth, Vladmir Karamatsov and his followers used the nuclear option, nearly destroying Earth. Five centuries later, Karamatov's successors battle to use the same weapons and newer "ultimate" weapons in pursuit of 25th Century world "peace." From Pacific islands to the frozen foothills of the Himalaya's, John Rourke, The Survivalist, and his allies fight delusion and raw ambition to save the fragile planet from men and women bent on proving the American philosopher George Santayana right, "Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it."

When John Rourke's daughter is kidnapped by a Russian agent, Rourke follows their trail across a frozen Arctic wasteland - and stumbles upon a small pocket of humanity living in a tropical paradise surrounded by ice and snow. The community of Icelandic descendants has flourished in seclusion during the long years following the fiery holocaust, unaware of the fierce and bloody struggle in the outside world between the forces of freedom and Communist tyranny.
