The third installment in the popular and best-selling series starring independent-minded third-grader, Judy Moody. Judy gets into an environmental crusader mood.

Judy Moody is in it to win it. Win the Book Quiz Blowout, that is. Judy and her brother, Stink, are two-fifths of the Virginia Dare Bookworms, and they’ve been reading up a storm to prepare for Saturday’s face-off against second- and third-grade readers from the next town. Judy’s trying out all kinds of tactics, from hanging upside down like Pippi Longstocking to teaching herself to speed read The Princess in Black, and Stink has fashioned a cape of book trivia sticky notes to help him remember all the penguins in Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

Judy is visiting Grandma Lou one day when she accidentally finds an uber-mysterious list of activities - a Bucket List! Which gives Judy an idea: How rare would it be if she made her own way-official bucket list of all the things she wants to do - before she starts fourth grade? Pretty soon Judy is off and running trying to cross off all her items: learn to do a cartwheel, invent something rad, go to Antarctica (the real one), ride a horse - the list goes on.

At a Moody family yard sale, Stink uncovers a box of old comics about a superhero he’s never heard of: Super Gecko. What could be more fantastic than a part-man, part-lizard with superpowers? Hello, fun! Even better, Super Gecko just happens to be making a super comeback. And just as Stink becomes Super Gecko’s number one fan, the impossible happens: Stink starts receiving mysterious notes signed by Super Gecko himself. But Super Gecko isn’t real, is he?

Stink may be super smart and Stink may be uber-clever, but he just can’t seem to turn into a Dolphin. He’s been in the Polliwog swim class for what seems like frog-ever, and still can’t bear to put his face in the water. Then, one day, Stink has a close encounter with a freaky mutant frog. All of a sudden, his froggy senses are tingling! He has an urge to slurp up raisins-that-look-like-flies. He can’t wait to play in the rain and mud. And he has become very interested in the local frog population. Could it be? Is it true? Could Stink be turning into...the Amazing Frog-Boy?

When Stink Moody's second grade class goes on a field trip to the Gross-Me-Out exhibit at the science museum, he learns that his very own nose has amazing sniffing abilities - and that some people have real jobs sniffing stuff for NASA! Soon Stink is engrossed in toilet water, corpse flowers, and all things smelly. But is his fetid footwear foul enough to win a Golden Clothespin Award? Loyal fans will be holding their breath for Stink's latest outrageous solo adventure.

Yikes! Stink Moody, family brain, brings home a report card that isn’t perfect? Time to get into fighting shape and beat back that U for Unsatisfactory he got in Phys Ed (aka gym class)! For Stink to be victorious, he’s going to need the help of a Snake in the Grass, a Banana Split, and a Tsunami Smash, not to mention a Moose, a Dragon Master, an Empty Hand, a Crouching Tiger, and a Hidden Thumb. Hiiiii-ya!

Only one more week until book number five in the Nightmare on Zombie Street series comes out. When it does, Stink will be first in line at the bookstore to buy his copy and join the town’s Midnight Zombie Walk! Until then, Stink and his friends keep busy, working on zombie costumes and racking up points for the race to One Million Minutes of Reading. With all that talk about the undead, Stink starts to wonder: Is he being hunted by zombies?

Judy Moody is in a mood. Not a good mood. And definitely NOT a math mood. The substitute teacher in Class 3T thinks Judy's math skills need improving. So Judy has to start meeting with a math tutor. Does this mean flash cards? Does this mean baby games? Does this mean school on weekends? But when Judy meets her tutor - a sick-awesome college student with an uber-funky sense of style - and gets a glimpse of college life, Judy's bad math-i-tude turns into a radical glad-i-tude.

Stink is so freaked out by spiders that he can’t read about them. He can’t look at them. He can’t think about them. And he for-sure can’t touch them! Stink has arachnophobia (a fear of spiders), and he has it bad. But when a hairy backyard emergency arises, Stink is forced to face his fear - and eight beady eyes - head-on.

It's spring break, and Stink is faced with a difficult choice: hang out at home with his sister, Judy, or become a Shakespeare Sprite with his friend Sophie of the Elves. Hanged be! When Sophie tells Stink that there will be swordplay and cursing at Shakespeare camp, his choice is made. But wait! How now? The eager young thespian hadn't counted on Riley Rottenberger being a Sprite, too. And he positively had not counted on being the only boy! Fie upon't!

Glip! Glop! Gloop! What looks like dog vomit, smells like a corpse flower, and stars in one of the scariest movies Stink Moody has ever seen? Is it the Blob? The Glob? The Son of Glob? No, it's...slime mold! Stink may be a super science freak, but even Dr. Stinkelstein is feeling freaked out about having a slime mold living and growing in his very own room.

Spurred by a newfound awareness of false advertising, Stink Moody becomes the proverbial kid in a candy store as his letter-writing campaign yields him heaps of free rewards. When Stink buys a mammoth jawbreaker that doesn't break his jaw, he writes a letter of complaint to the manufacturer — and receives a ten-pound box of 21,280 jawbreakers for his trouble!

Brushing your teeth with a stick! Pooping in the woods! Stink and his friends are raring to learn all that and more in Survival Scouts. Wait! What? Survival Scouts is for boys only? No fair! So with Riley Rottenberger (aka the Great Golu) at the helm, Stink and his friends decide to form their own troop of nature explorers: the Big Bad Badgers. There will be badges to earn, climbing-up ceremonies, and awards to win.
