Am Ende macht sie noch einen witzigen Hörtest und kann beweisen, dass sie supergute Augen hat. So vergeht der Kinderarztbesuch wie im Fluge und Conni weiß schon, was sie später einmal werden möchte.

Endlich bekommt Conni Taschengeld. Jedes Geldstück wirft sie in ihr dickes Sparschwein. Und wenn das voll ist, kauft sich Conni das kleine Spielzeugpony mit dem Geheimversteck. Bis es soweit ist, zählt Conni immer wieder mit Mama ihr gespartes Geld, lässt sich von Opa ausländische Münzen zeigen und eröffnet sogar ein eigenes Konto auf der Bank.

Endlich Sommer! Mit Connis Eltern geht es ans Meer  -  Zelten! Es dauert gar nicht lange, bis das Zelt steht. Dann gibt es erst einmal eine Limonade, denn bei der Hitze kommen auch Mama und Papa ganz schön ins Schwitzen. Aber einfach nur in der Sonne zu braten, ist Conni zu langweilig. Sie zieht's an den Strand: Steine sammeln, eine Sandburg bauen und den Aussichtsturm mit Kieseln verzieren. Und am Strand macht Conni auch noch andere Entdeckungen als nur Kiesel und Steine.
