I 1971 blev den kun otte-årige Conny fundet myrdet i en opgang i Fensmarksgade på Nørrebro i København. Trods en intens efterforskning lykkedes det ikke Københavns Politi at finde gerningsmanden. Fem år senere blev den 15-årige Connie fundet dræbt af knivstik i en kælder på Skelvangsvej i Randers.
