Sometimes the best way to learn about a unique region is to listen to the stories told by those who've actually lived there. You learn things that no guidebook would ever tell you. You meet unforgettable characters who've strayed far off the beaten path. And you see clearly again how the power of memory is so strong that they can still recall incidents decades later. Michigan's Upper Peninsula has always been filled with remarkable sensations and indelible stories.

This celebratory anthology explores human connection through forty-four poems carefully curated by the host of the internationally acclaimed Poetry Unbound podcast. With an observant eye, Pádraig Ó Tuama shares an enlightening meditation on each poem, revealing the ways we relate to each other...

In Sanguine, the writer becomes an artisan of emotions, sculpting verses that evoke the depth of the supernatant human condition. The inked revelations, an offering to the listener, invite them to traverse the landscapes of heartache and ecstasy painted in hues of spirited crimson. Each sentence, forging; each paragraph, a magnum opus. And so, in the quiet sanctum of creativity, where the union of pen and emotion transpires, the act of Sanguine becomes a ritual—a communion between the writer, words, and the eager heart of the listener, all bound together in the sacred art of storytelling.

The winding, twisting paths of a poet's mind can lead to interesting places. Come along and visit this place of shadows. Here there be dragons, monsters, truth, and more to enjoy. Fantasy, Reality, and Truths come together to form one hundred and fifty poems written by Beverly L. Anderson. The beginning is a path of fantasy with mythic beasts of yore, and darkness that creeps into the very bone.

This is a poem that does not rhyme, because life-changing moments do not rhyme, or fit perfectly in order. Each line of the 22-line poem, conveys a multitude of lived experiences, and is stacked like the title for emphasis. To sit with the title (without even opening the book), and the question it prompts, would be more than enough - to jump start a shift in perception about the pathways of life, where we intersect at heart and meet for a virtual cup of tea.

Colin Greer knows a lot about a lot. His rich life as an educator and author/playwright, immersed in the social and political justice trenches, is reflected in his latest poetry. In this collection, he muses on the human condition through verse, taking the listener through the ordinary, the personal, the sublime and tragic.

The graffiti artist for the popular culture. The man of many talents, without knowing his stature. The Guy who commands a presence on the street walls of the Worlds Cities. This poem is a homage to Bansky titled BANKSY—Art Can, can—BABS.

Emotions possess a formidable potency, propelling us towards extraordinary heights, yet simultaneously, they possess the ability to burden us, inflicting pain and desolation. In my concise audiobook "The Volcanic symphony of my soul," I extend an invitation into my realm, where I have traversed the entire spectrum of these sentiments. Through poetry, I reveal both instances of delight and those of heartache. A few verses may evoke a grin, while others might delve into the profound realms of despair.
