Bitter Lips, Sweet Heart is a unique collection of romantic poetry first assembled by a group of young male college students who got together to read poetry and drink tea every week, thinking themselves spurned romantics and talented poets. Most of the original selections have been forgotten, and the collection has been updated for this simple release with a sense of irony and sheepishness in mature adulthood. May its angst, irony, lust, and innocent affection amuse and entertain you today, just as it did the four nerdy boys who assembled it to communicate.

Little Wisdom is a series of Wisdom Teachings, Poems, Short Stories, and Practices intended to introduce traditional integrative wisdom, evoke discerning thought, and remind us of the spirit of the old ways. As I write this work there are elders, deities, ancestors, spirits of Nature, and others who come to share their thoughts and words. As I write Creator and the Spirit of Creation guide my thoughts. Though I am the author I am not the only contributor. I am an indigenous medicine man, a ‘shaman’, with traditional values.

My Father's Eyes, My Mother's Rage is the raw and emotionally charged debut poetry collection by Rose Brik. Through her words, she fearlessly navigates themes of the mother and father wound, childhood trauma, domestic violence, grief, mental health, love, motherhood and ultimately, the process of healing. Within this book--Moon and Stone--You will find stories of strange fox hunts; distressed opera stars; droll, odd, and dangerous neighbors; a fiction editor who perhaps works for The New Yorker; an officious doctor on a ghostly river walk; a poetry war; a magical Waterbear. Also, find poems, chants, sigils, and songs--some funny, others, gothic, searching... all, messages from what T. F. Long likes to call the wide primal river.

In this streamlined, lightly modernized version of an ancient legend, Cupid, the eternal God of Love, himself falls in love with the human Psyche. The tale can be enjoyed at many levels: as an exciting adventure, a romantic love story, a mystical parable of humanity’s quest for union with the divine, an expression of the troubled Irish political situation in the early nineteenth century, and for the unfailing beauty and musicality of its verse.

Throughout the long centuries of human history is the want, and the need, to share information, to exchange ideas and for that knowledge and experience, for curiosity and learning, to be the basis of a civil society. In literature the ambition is much narrower. In order to be known, to be popular, you had to be published. And for that people had to know you existed and your ideas worth reading. Obviously for most of humanity's time people couldn't read and texts couldn't be published in any great number.

Days of Contemplation presents a fascinating narrative, encapsulating the author’s extensive journey across several decades. The audiobook beautifully weaves together experiences from diverse destinations and encounters, forming a complex, yet engaging, fabric of life’s stories and adventures. The author, James Hoffman, doesn’t confine the narrative to the past and present but extends it to speculate about the future.

The language of Poetry is an art that most of us attempt at some point in our lives. Although its commonplace exposure has been somewhat marginalised in today's often fast-paced lives we all recognise good verse that can empathise with our thoughts or open us up to experience new things in new ways, to better understand and to enjoy the many strands of our lives.

Writings Of Qahhar is a slight peak into my life's ups, downs, mids, highs, and lows. This book is an anthology of poems to help listeners see the things that I do not talk about because they are better expressed through words, but it is also a positive enabler to help you beat the odds you once thought were unbeatable. I hope you enjoy listening to it!
