The Patient Assassin covers the events of the Amritsar Massacre of 1919 in which hundreds of lives were lost when the army opened fire on a crowd with no warnings. An injured survivor, Udham Singh, vowed, wiping blood-soaked earth onto his forehead, that he would kill the men responsible. The Patient Assassin follows him through Africa and the US and across Europe to end up in front of Sir Michael O'Dwyer, who had sent the men to attack.

My Life with Murderers is Wilson's account of his career, from being the youngest prison governor in the UK to gaining his professorship at Birmingham City University. His book is a study of the dark capabilities of human nature. In this interview, we spoke about the wide continuum of people that make up ‘murderers’, the decline of the prison systems and what sort of conversations he’s had with serial killers.

Joining us at the Audible Studios are Greg James and Chris Smith, authors of the Kid Normal books and famous as BBC Radio 1 presenters. Jason Isaacs joins us in the Audible Studios to discuss narrating The Island of Dr Moreau by H. G. Wells. Playing the iconic role of Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films as well as Dr. Hunter Aloysius 'Hap' Percy in The OA and being part of the Star Trek franchise, he is a prolific and renowned actor. In this interview, Jason tells us about narrating The Island of Dr Moreau, what his kids think of this work, and the casting director who thought his hands were more interesting than his acting talent.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Temi Oh, who has a BSci in neuroscience and an MA in creative writing and who has recently released her debut novel, Do You Dream of Terra-Two? We spoke about how rewriting one book taught her to write novels, how she got to go in a human centrifuge and being a huge audiobook fan.

Joining us in the Audible Studios is Welsh actor Alexander Vlahos. In this interview, Alexander tells us what he likes about narrating and what it’s like to be an actor. Vlahos narrates H. G. Joining us at Audible Studios is Rachel Reeves, British economist and Labor Party politician. We spoke about her new book, Women of Westminster, which details the stories of women MPs from 1919-2019. In the past century, a total of 491 women have been elected to parliament. However, it wasn’t until 2016 that the total number of women ever elected eventually surpassed the number of male MPs in a single parliament. We spoke about Rachel about interviewing Teresa May for the book and how being a woman MP has affected her career.

Joining us at Audible Studios is David Wallace-Wells, deputy editor of New York magazine and now climate change writer with his book The Uninhabitable Earth. The book is based on a much viewed article David wrote of the same name which goes through the possible worst-case scenarios on our earth due to global warming, such as economic collapse, famine and overheating.

After studying Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire, Stacey worked as an assistant editor at We Love This Book magazine and a media editor at the Bookseller magazine, as well as writing for Psychologies, The Independent, and Fabulous magazine, where she is now Deputy Chief Sub-Editor. Alongside editorial work, Stacey has written her first novel, an exciting historical fiction set within the drama of the 1612 Pendle witch trials.

Whilst working as a social work administrator, Heather Morris studied and wrote screenplays. Heather Morris talks to us about her book, the man who inspired it and what we can expect from her next.
